I was in fifth grade when Irina became my piano teacher. Piano lessons with her were wonderful because she taught me about the history of music and made me a well-rounded person. She also taught me how to play with emotion and passion... With her it wasn't just learning about the how to play the right notes in the right. It was about learning to play the piece in a way that was moving. She was a dedicated teacher to me who gave it her all. I couldn't have imagined a better teacher in my wildest dreams.

My son has been taking Guitar lessons from Shane for several years. Shane has a very easy going encouraging approach to teaching that has really allowed my son to learn and develop confidence. Shane has followed my son's personal interests and allows him to play many different musical genres. Shane is very professional and always on time. Highly recommended.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Carly since May 2013, after taking a year-long break with another teacher. A happy parent referred us to Carly and I convinced my daughter to give piano another try, before giving it up altogether. I can honestly say that Carly brought the joy of learning and playing piano back to my daughter. My daughter can be very shy and Carly took the time to get to know her and they have formed a great teacher-student relationship. Carly motivates her with fun music, encouraging words and makes her eager to learn, rather than look at piano practice as a chore. I am very impressed with how far my daughter has come, in a short time, with her piano playing. I have gotten to see Carly play piano (and sing!) and she is an extremely talented young woman, that any child (or adult) would be lucky to learn from. She has always provided us with good communication, shown flexibility when needed and I highly recommend her to other parents.

Justin does a wonderful job of instilling a general love of and appreciation for music inn our 10 year old girl. We hired him to teach guitar, but he also uses singing and our piano in the lessons. We all really like his holistic approach. Justin is laid back and very easy to get along with, as well as trustworthy. We highly recommend him!

I am an older adult voice student who has been working with Dr. Warren for several months. I contacted her initially because I wanted to get my voice back in shape for choral singing after not being in a choir/concert chorus for many years. She has been wonderful to work with! -- always positive, with a great sense of humor and lovely mezzo soprano voice as well-- giving me vocalises and songs that are expanding my range slowly but surely. It is especially helpful that she can demonstrate vocal techniques with her own well-developed voice, so that one can both observe mouth positions and hear desired sounds. With a doctorate in Musical Arts and more than 30 years of experience in voice training, choral conducting, and church music ministries, Dr. Warren has been able to answer every musical question I've ever asked her, and add to my musical knowledge with many other details about composers, musical scores, and repertoire. On occasion, she is enjoyably assisted in her teaching by her husband's beautiful red eclectus parrot in the next room who says a friendly "hello" or injects a whistle (of purity to be envied!) into a student's scale or song. I can't imagine any student who would not benefit from her encouragement and teaching style.

Leslie tailors each lesson to what I need at that time. Her lesson visuals improve understanding of the concepts. Most importantly, she developed my vocal skills in ways that I never thought possible. I now have the confidence to present myself and "perform" in any capacity. She has an amazing client list, professional experience, and contacts. Be sure to tell her how much the Tootsie pop exercise could help you! I highly recommend her.

Kelli has helped my son improve tremendously not only with his voice, but with his confidence as well. She is great to work with, very flexible and patient. She goes out of her way to individualize the lessons for the student. Also provides public performance opportunites for her students to gain exposure and experience.

I had 3 boys taking lessons with Carissa & we all loved her. My boys still miss her & I’m not sure she’ll ever be replaced! Her love for the piano would come across in her lessons. She is professional, thorough, sweet, and encouraging-she knew just when one of them needed a little boost. My boys learned so much from her & I'm so glad she was the one who gave them their start in piano!

We are loving our experience with Heather Hills! My 8-year-old daughter takes piano with her once a week. (This is her first experience with piano lessons). The home setting is welcoming and beautiful and Heather's personality is wonderful. I have been so impressed with how much my child has already learned after about 8 weeks. She is always eager to practice and after each lesson she is in such a positive mood, excited to share her new songs. We appreciate Heather's ability to be flexible with our schedule as well--due to illness or vacation, etc. I (and my daughter) highly recommend Heather Hills for a piano teacher!

Julie is the perfect piano teacher I've been looking for. She is experienced in that she knows how to design the learning curve for me to achieve my goal, so I am having fun and making progress at the same time when practicing. I'm a 24 years old student who learned piano for 3 years when I was younger, and now my goal is playing the classical piano and writing songs. I believe I can achieve that with Julie's help. She is professional in that she has a broad knowledge of music history, music styles, and pianists, and she knows what playing techniques I need. So I really enjoy my class with her. Last but not least, she is a warm friend. Come and join us! We have piano parties waiting for you.

Adam is a great teacher. To start, he is a personable guy; I have never found lessons overly tedious in part because he makes people feel at ease. He is also flexible to your interests and abilities in music so that you literally start learning songs and styles you like from day one. Adam's grasp of music theory and, in my case, the guitar, is routinely amazing in its complexity and depth. On multiple occasions, if I was having particular trouble with certain chords on the guitar or something like that, he was able to provide alternative methods or styles that were easier for me, which I appreciated. Not only that, he's able to break those concepts down so that even someone with little exposure to music like myself could understand it. Within a 4 months of lessons with Adam, I was able competently play entry-level songs and am still improving by the week with his help.

Dan is an incredible teacher. Through his voice teaching, he is strengthening my daughter’s self confidence and passion for music and musical theater. His classes are not just singing. It’s the science behind it where he teaches her how the body and it’s organs work to sing. It’s learning to create her character. It’s learning to read music. It’s body awareness. It’s understanding that every area, even one you love, has difficult parts or areas you don’t enjoy, but you work on your broccoli because it makes you stronger. He does all this in a positive manner. It’s really impressive.
