- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I think it's really hard to quote anything without talking to a client first, although I am always happy to throw out a rate to get the conversation started. I prefer to meet in person, discuss hopes and dreams for the event, goals of the event and then make sure that myself and the client can make the best team for this event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for Starwood hotels and planned events on a state and national level for groups as well as worked closely with the convention center in my city on many events. I have planned weddings, birthday parties, anniversary parties, baby and wedding showers over the last 8 years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I started in the hotel industry, I began to plan client appreciation events. These turned into fun social events with themes and I realized that all of the details, the creativity and seeing how much my clients enjoyed the event meant that I had found my purpose.
