FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The first session is free! I wouldn't want to pay for something without knowing it works, so I like to give potential clients the opportunity to get to know me and learn my training style before fully committing. Thumbtack only allows pricing based on a 60-minute session, but I have found that shorter, more intense sessions are most effective and clients are more likely to stay committed long-term. My sessions are normally 30-35 minutes (will vary from session to session depending on the focus for that day) and I charge $45 per session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During your free 30 minute assessment, we will discuss your fitness goals and history. I will ask about sleeping patterns, diet and nutrition, medical history/injuries, and commitment level. The assessment will end with a short workout routine. If we decide to move forward, the first few sessions will be full body workouts to test upper, lower and abdominal strength with cardio mixed in. Then, workouts will become more specific based on your goals and your assessed strengths and weaknesses.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). I also have NASM certificates in youth and elderly training. I have worked in the fitness industry for 3 years. I am currently a trainer at one of the largest chain gyms in Raleigh, and I have also been training clients at my home for about 2 years.
