    Came to our house and wanted to look around before quoting 6 mounted ceiling lights and two smaller ceiling fans (already put together). He wanted $380 at first and I said no way. He then comes down to $300. Stay away from anyone wanting to "see your home" before they quote you. They will factor your living scenario into the installation cost. I was not impressed.
