Introduction: We meet in the homes of parents and public libraries. Licensed in Special Education and K-12, Bridges Tutoring works with children who have learning disabilities. As a published author, I also help gifted students fulfill their potential and achieve the highest grades and test scores.
I love helping students achieve their academic goals. It's very rewarding when the students proudly show me their report cards and parents tell us their children are finishing homework assignments independently and becoming more confident. I'm happy when students begin to enjoy writing and go on to publish their work in school newspapers and magazines for children. Some have won school writing contests and science project awards.

Bruce has been performing general tutoring services for our
child once a week for about six months now (with focus on reading / writing).
Bruce has been very instrumental in boosting our child's
confidence in reading / writing. In fact, our child even went up two reading proficiency levels on recent school assessment.
Bruce works in a non-threatening or pushy way that promotes
and encourages higher academic achievement. Our young child has never whined or complaint about the tutoring sessions, which we see as a testament to a positive tutor/student
relationship.
Our child has also discovered a love for writing detailed, imaginative, story "books" which our child loves to read and share. Our child is reaching all academic goals, and in some cases, even exceeding them! We believe Bruce has been a key component to these successes.

Bruce Lader is a compassionate and results-driven tutor who asks the highest from his tutees. Mr. Lader has helped my son drop bad study and homework habits by holding him personally accountable for his actions.
