After unsuccessfully trying to find someone to install a ceiling fan to my 20’ ceiling, I found Thumbtack. I quickly had a listing of electrical contractors with reviews and pics. I chose Victor with Carolina’s Handy Service because he quickly responded to me and called to discuss what I needed done. He sent me pics of installing light fixtures on tall ceilings. He arrived the NEXT day! He installed the ceiling fan, new outlet, replaced a gfi outlet and replaced a garage ceiling light. I’ve had these things on my list for MONTHS and I’m very happy that they are complete. I would not hesitate in hiring Victor again and refer him to my friends.

Victor did a great job installing canned lights over our two showers, rewiring the switches, and running additional wiring to install a floodlight/security camera combo on the back of our house. He had actually only scheduled us for the canned light install and took on the security camera install with about 5 minutes notice and was able to complete the install without cutting additional holes in the drywall. Will definitely hire him for future needs!

Wow! My journey to get a ceiling fan installed in my super high ceilings has been crazy! We had these guys come out, and they knew they needed an extra high ladder so we hand to work around crazy schedules to get the ladder inside our 3rd floor condo. Even still, I ended up buying a ceiling fan that wouldn’t work, these guys met me at Lowe’s to buy one that would work based on their knowledge and we were able to get the fan we needed and the extension rod. I had to also order a part due to our fans angle and after that finally came in, they came right out, got the ladder up to the 3rd floor, got the fan installed in about two hours just in time for me to get my son from school. I am so grateful for their dedication to helping us because honestly, they could have dismissed my request because of the amount of labor it took outside of actually installing hr fan. The installation of the fan was the easiest part! But they remained patient and kind during every hiccup and the result is a client who will forever use this company! Beyond grateful! Don’t even consider looking at another company. I don’t care how cheap another company may be, this company provides exceptional quality work, with amazing customer service and they have substantial knowledge and skill to ensure your vision comes true. Thank you again!!!

Every job varies, but it can always be helpful to schedule a walk thru to get s more accurate estimate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Giving the customer 110% the truth about their project(s) and asking for more details about what all is needed and scheduling for a walk thru when we feel it’s needed before giving an estimate. We typically try to get all questions upfront and answered both ways so that we are transparent with our customers.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Trade school in which gave me a lot of knowledge and also several years of hands on work .
