As an Industrial Electrical Contractor, We wanted to protect our logo and name. We were referred to Fidelity Law Group to provide trademarking and copyright legality services. Fidelity Law Group showed up on time and looked very professional. Not having any knowledge of the trade, they were able to understand and grasp the idea of the electrical services that we provide as a company and understood exactly what we needed. They worked promptly and took care of everything we asked for, as well as offering any other legal services that we would benefit from in the future. Great Law group, easy to talk to, and they know how to take care of all your legal needs. Thanks Fidelity Law Group for the amazing legal services and we will use them again! -IEG LLC www.iegusa.comSee more

Following a successful 15-year career managing several well-known retail stores throughout the country, I decided to refocus my passion for customer service and apply it to the practice of law. My determination to provide superior “customer” – or client – service is the keystone of his relationships with each and every client. “Whether carefully guiding parents through a highly emotional child custody dispute, or navigating a conflict between employer and employee, it is important to me that the people with whom I interact are provided sound legal advice in a language they understand. ‘You have to explain the why and the what next,’ is a saying I often look to when describing how I plan to approach a legal matter. My client needs to understand why the steps we are taking in their case are important so that they can assist me in obtaining the best possible outcome. They also need to understand the ‘what next’ so they can see the connection between what we are doing today and how it will affect what happens next week, next month, or next year.”See more

This is a great employer and a diverse group of people, ever since I started with them as a consultant subcontractor it's been fun and a learning experience. They have cumulative knowledge about many topics due to the diverse group of people and their backgrounds, knowledge, training, and experience in various fields and finance/public administration. To me it seems that the products and services are fairly and competitively priced below market value but stay on par with the industry standard and are high quality in each area of service.I personally recommend the services to family and friends both who personally need the services and to those who do not to the extent that publicizing it to others who are friends and acquaintances of family and friends may help connect someone else with reasonably priced services and goods that they may need. On a personal note It also impresses me that TIME CREDIT LIFELINE and THE UNASSOCIATED 33 PHOENIX FOUNDATION are interested and involved in Environmental Projects and that most of their affiliated people are serious about environmental issues and/or HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS. Businesses that give back somehow or that better the world we live in in some way - like these -are in harmony and balance with 'the people' I believe. So, work is always fun, enriching, rewarding, and extremely interesting and use of their services as well as marketing their services to those who I run across that need them is financially rewarding as well.Additionally, if you call and ask for an appointment with me personally either myself, or one of my assistants or research team under my direct supervision, will assist you! I know my stuff and have a broad skill set and background in finance, insurance, organizational structure, legal research and writing, project and proposal writing, claims processing/filing, and more! If we cannot help you we will refer you to specialists who can with competitively priced and friendly service.See more

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What kind of lawyer does wills?

No one likes talking about death, but it’s better than leaving your children or siblings to sort out your estate. A clearly planned will can make the time of mourning easier for everyone. An estate attorney will develop a legal will, create trusts on your behalf, and ensure the proper execution of your estate after you pass away.

Family attorneys and estate attorneys, also called probate and wills attorneys, can each prepare wills. The type of lawyer best suited to prepare your will depends on your situation. Most family attorneys provide services to prepare basic wills, including bequeathing property and personal items to family or naming a guardian for minor children. However, estate attorneys specialize in preparing wills in more complex situations. Consider hiring an estate attorney if you:

  • Have a large number of assets, especially those subject to estate taxes
  • Want to create a trust, such as allowing a spouse to live in your home until he or she dies and then leaving it to your children, or set up long-term care for a beneficiary
  • Have an ownership stake in a business
  • Expect someone to contest your will
  • Want to disinherit your spouse

How do you find a good lawyer for wills?

Estate planning is an important part of financial planning, so it’s important to find the right attorney to prepare your will. Although most family attorneys can put together a basic will, you may want one who specializes in wills and estate planning, especially if you have a lot of assets or a dependent to take care of. You may need an attorney who has expertise in planning and executing trusts and a background in taxes. Ask how the attorney charges; some charge by the hour, others have a set fee for writing wills, and some charge a percentage of the total value of the estate. Make a list of several potential wills attorneys to interview. Make sure you make a strong personal connection with your attorney — you need to be comfortable telling him or her personal, confidential information about your life, and you need to feel that the attorney is committed to solving any problems that may arise while writing your will. Also find out how long the attorney has practiced estate law and whether he or she has handled wills similar to yours.

How much should an estate plan cost?

The cost of an estate plan depends largely on the number of parts it includes and the complexity of the documents. The most basic estate plan is simply a will, but it may also include designating power of attorney or a health care proxy to another person, writing a living will, or making a HIPAA authorization. The average national cost to make an estate plan ranges from $350 to $900, but can cost much more in complicated situations. For example, an estate attorney may charge only $900 to prepare a basic will providing outright distribution — meaning that property and assets are distributed upon death. Writing a more complicated will and holding assets in trusts can cost $3,000, or more. The process of creating an estate plan generally takes two to four weeks, starting with the initial consultation with the wills attorney to identify areas of concern in order to design an estate plan that fits your goals and budget. Once an estate plan is written, the attorney meets with the clients, a notary, and two neutral witnesses to review and sign the plan and associated documents.

How much does it cost to have a living will?

Either a family attorney or an estate, or wills, attorney can help you prepare a living will, either as part of your general estate planning or as an individual document. The cost typically ranges from $250 to $500, depending on your attorney’s fees; some charge by the hour, while others have a flat rate for writing a living will. Some states require living wills to be notarized, which adds an average of $5 to $15. In a living will — also called an advanced healthcare directive — you specify whether you want to be kept on life support if you become terminally ill or lapse into a persistent vegetative state. You can also answer other important questions in a living will like your preferences for tube feeding, artificial hydration and pain medication in situations when you cannot communicate your wishes on your own.
