I’m Alex and I am a true makeup lover! Despite working as a mental health therapist, makeup is my love. Over the years I’ve applied makeup to hundreds of beauties of all skin types and ethnicities. I specialize in wedding, prom, special events, and costume makeup. I am a mobile makeup artist where I will travel to you saving valuable time the day of your event. I also have space at my therpay office for makeup trials and makeup for non mobile clients.
For mobile events, I bring with me all the needed equipment to do the job right. This includes makeup to cater to all skin tones and needs, lighting, and a tall makeup chair.
My makeup is all inclusive including primer, full face of makeup, lashes, and setting spray. I offer extra bold lashes for an additional fee. If the client does NOT want lashes there is NOT a discount. I am offering these as a freebie to my clients because they really complete the look.
As you can see from my reviews here and on my google page, my makeup will last you all day. People often ask me about airbrush and although I know how to do it, I choose not to. This is because I feel it is pricey and only looks beautiful for a short time and then dissolves. I prefer to give my clients a look that is beautiful and fresh but lasts all day.
I charge $80 per client plus a one time travel fee which is described in detail below. For mobile makeup, I have a 3 person minimum or a $160 fee for only 1 or 2 clients. I also offer a discounted rate for Flower girls and junior bridesmaids under 17 of $40. This means very light eye shadow, no eyeliner, no lashes, and a general lighter application.
The one time travel fee is calculated at a rate of $.50 per mile from my home studio in Salisbury, NC to your location with a $25 minimum. I’m willing to travel up to 3 hours away. for makeup starting at 9am. Anything starting earlier and or over 3 hours away will require a lodging fee. This can be precisely calculated once I know the exact meeting location. Any parking fees would also be tacked on to this price. To clarify, I only charge the travel fee once and usually the bride or the wedding party will split this cost. It is NOT tacked on to each person’s cost.
To secure your date beyond chats I require a phone conversation with you, and a $100 non refundable deposit. You will receive a receipt for your records. You can submit via cash, credit card, check, PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle.
Lastly I offer a free trial for any brides. You would either have to come to my home studio in Salisbury, NC or I could come to you and only charge you the travel fee.
