FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It depends on the session type. For weddings, if they have reviewed my work and think we would be a good match, then we schedule and in-person meeting where I show them albums, answer questions, and show them the agreement. Most clients book me during the meeting or shortly afterwards. For family sessions or portraits, usually a phone call after they have viewed my work and then a price list. At that point, I email the agreement and we set up the session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Constantly! I learn something new every single day, whether it is a flash technique, camera trick, a new way to develop in Photoshop, or testing out new software. I have always loved school and learning. This is a great profession for knowledge-hungry people like myself because it is constantly changing, evolving, and updating.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Photographs are obviously important, but also keep in mind you'll be spending a good majority of the day with the person you hire. It's equally important that you are comfortable with them. I like to get to know my clients so that I can give them the most unique and genuine photos possible.
