I have been assisting folks file their taxes since 2014. I began with H&R Block then switched to Jackson-Hewitt. I felt that they were charging too much even though they had rent and employees to pay along with other over head costs. I offer the same service for simple, joint, self-employed citizens whether you have W-2s, various 1099s, sold stock, received interest, student loans, daycare expenses, children and much more. I'm to the point, don't beat around the bush, no hidden fees or try to get you to purchase additional protection when you don't even need it. I am certified to file returns in the 43 states that have taxes. My fees typically run: Single $60-$80 Filing Separately $100-120 Filing joint $120-150 Sole-Proprietor $150-250 The fees depend in whether you need to file a state return or not.
