Dante Vicharelli is one of the most delightful tutors I have ever had. I've struggled with finding people who could help me and while others did the job, no one compared to Mr. Vicharelli. He is attentive, quick, kind-hearted, and so much fun. He made learning easy and such a joy to experience. He was diligent on handling my struggles and made me feel so comfortable with learning. I went from a below average C/D student to all A's and B's when our time was up. As an added bonus, he's super cute, too!!

About

Connections is a tutoring and college preparatory service based in Winston-Salem, NC. The tutoring program works primarily with high school students and specializes in developing writing skills, with potential for math assistance and other subject flexibility, while the college preparatory program navigates the often-stressful high school-to-college transition, offering assistance along every step of the way. Tailored to your needs, the college preparatory program can work through test preparation, school selection, school applications, and scholarship hunting. Assistance in finding internships is also possible. In our experience, developing engaging academic writing built on clear arguments, and providing quality college preparatory guidance are often the most under-served areas throughout our growing school districts nationwide.

About

The relationships I build with my students allow them to feel at ease while working through the material. This reduces a lot of the stress that students put on themselves that causes them to get hung up on the material.

About

I have always enjoyed working with young men, and have a knack for explaining things in a way that they understand. I began tutoring math when I was in high school. I also have extensive experience mentoring one on one or leading groups of young men during my seven years in the Boy Scouts of America, and six years teaching multiple merit badges at Raven Knob summer camp. In the future I hope to be an Eagle Scout mentor.

I am a professional Spanish and English tutor with years of experience teaching students of all ages, levels and settings. I currently teach mostly online in a one-on-one setting and adjust the sessions to the student's goals, needs and learning style using interactive lessons, videos, writing and conversation to support, reinforce and balance with the grammar that we cover. I am easy to reach outside of class and have a flexible schedule. I have a love for languages that is contagious, yet I am able to simplify those topics that often can give students trouble.
