- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our carpet cleaning pricing is initially based of of the number of areas that you need done. We say 'areas' rather than rooms because some rooms can be far larger than others. We consider and 'area' to be the size of an standard bedroom(approximately 12x12) so areas like a large great room could be considered several 'areas'. This model makes it easier for us to give you a price over the phone based on the number of areas you want cleaned, without needing to know exact square footage. Secondarily, pricing is based on the condition of the carpet, while our base pricing accounts for a certain level of dirt and stain removal, it is important for us to know as much as possible about the condition of your carpet. Items like heavy traffic soiling, bright color stains, burns, ink/grease spots, pet stains and heavy odors are very important for us to know about in advance and can factor into the price of the cleaning. With this type of honesty and information we can get you a very accurate quote over the phone. We look forward to working with you! **a note from the owner** We always try to avoid a situation where we would need to change the price after getting to the job site. We know that this is extremely frustrating as a customer and have dealt with it as homeowners ourselves. This only ever happens when there is a gross discrepancy between the description that we have received and the actual scope of work to be done.(it is extremely rare). If this is to happen though, it is our policy to always let you know before we begin work so that a decision can be made. You never get charged more than the agreed upon price without your approval first.
