I sold the sectional couch that I was using in my living room tonight. I had a loveseat and couch downstairs. I removed the backs and I thought I could then bring bases of my loveseat and couch upstairs by myself. I was mistaken. I reached out to Alex on Thumbtack. Alex and his son were kind enough within a couple hours of me contacting them, to come over after hours, and move them upstairs for me. The job was more of a hassle than I thought or described it to him. They had to take the couch from the basement, through the garage, outside and back in through the front door to get the couch through my narrow passageways. And they did it with good attitude and were even gracious enough to put removable backs back on the couch and loveseat and even adjusted my rug which was more than I expected. I really appreciated it. I highly recommend both gentlemen.

Alex is a good guy. His price was fair, he gave me an estimate and showed up timely...unlike another person who came whom I had to hound for two weeks to get the estimate even though he said he wanted to do the job. His price was four times what Alex charged to put in a lamppost and more than double to repair a kitchen ceiling.

Alex did a great job with responding to my requests and was committed to getting that job right. I had him hang art work and curtains. All the work is not pictured but you can get an idea of what he as able to do. He was professional and was able to think through any challenges and brainstorm approaches.
