I appreciated their prompt response and friendliness. They were able to get me in right away as well. I ended up paying for a deep clean (told it was a 7-8 hr clean). The cleaner was finished with in 4.5 hrs. I wasn’t home to do the Walkthru. When I got home, most of the cleaning was fine and what I expected. But there were several areas where I was disappointed. Missed ceiling fan (the dirtiest one), dirty window sills, completely missed shelf in the kitchen, and it seems like she just forgot to do one side of the primary shower door. In addition, it seemed as though things on most shelves were moved to be dusted, but the items themselves or not dusted at all. So I’m not sure if that’s normal, but that is what I experienced. I did tell her not to worry about the knick-knacks in my daughters room since she has so many and she’s so particular, but the rest of the items I expected to be moved and dusted along with the shelf. In addition, in the laundry room, there were some drips from laundry detergent that were clearly visible. I would’ve anticipated a deep clean to at least attempt to wipe some of those, but that didn’t happen. I didn’t get the feeling of a deep clean. In the past, when I’ve had a deep clean, you can tell when you walk in because everything is very fresh smelling (there was no clean smell, it just smelled like a regular house), the blinds are typically opened to let natural light in, and things are arranged differently to make it clear they were moved and dusted and straightened out if they were a bit untidy. It seems like things were rushed. Another thing that I found odd, was that she left every toilet seat and lid up so that you could just see directly into the toilet - I don’t ever leave our toilets like that, I find that weird. I’m used to towels being replaced in bathrooms, which they weren’t, even though I left out clean towels. It’s a bit frustrating in that we paid for a deep clean, and expected a 7 to 8 hour clean, but she was done and gone within 4 1/2 hours. With these things left the way they were, and like I said, the overall feeling that things were rushed, I didn’t have the greatest experience. I do not have time to have her come back and finish, so I just finished those things myself. I should also mention that she knew I wasn’t home yet. Left my garage door wide open, and my front door wide open. That is frustrating and unsafe. She could have closed the garage door, left out the front, and closed the front door behind her, even if it wasn’t locked. At least it would have been somewhat safer. Overall, it wasn’t my best experience. I did let the manager know when asked. But I wasn’t offered any kind of discount or anything. I took a few photos, but not many.
