I am so happy that I hired Simon. I personally hate hanging anything on my walls especially a collage. I started this project on my own. After I hung 3, I realized I needed a different ladder near the stairs than what we had and a laser leveler. That’s where Simon came in. He fixed the slightly unleveled frames I did myself and quickly hung the rest. Spacing is perfect and everything is level. He paid 100% attention to every detail. Super nice guy too! Even fixed my crooked door knob on the way out. Totally worth it! Thank you !

I’d been putting this job off for some time and to be honest where and how to put up 20 pieces of artwork was overwhelming, especially when you have a busy life. Enter Simon with all the right tools of the trade and managed to not only put everything up but also in the right place giving great advice from his perspective. Very clean neat and tidy wouldn’t even know when he was here. Highly recommended.

Simon hung 2 baseball pictures for me-one on wall from living room to dining room and one in staircase to the basement. He was very meticulous measuring to get the pictures centered so they looked their best. Was very pleased with his work and his friendly attitude. Would highly recommend him for any picturehangings which you want done properly.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Mostly, know that what I charge will come back to you many times over - it is an investment in your comfort and real estate.
The first hour is charged at $150, the stated hourly rate thereafter.
We may work hourly if the projects seem open-ended, unless we agree on a flat fee.
If I am only invited at the weekends, and I can relax family plans, the charge is an extra 50%.
If transit is an hour or more roundtrip (from Central Omaha) I ask for a $50 supplement.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's no different than repeat business, and with just as much gratitude for your trust and confidence in my abilities evident in my eyes and handshake!
Usually, I am hired directly through the app, after we have shared expectations and photos so I can be most effective. Occasionally, as needed, I visit to get a more detailed picture.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a design engineer for over 20 years, and have that analytical mindset. I'm also a creative and you can use me as an idea generator!
Further, I've had 8 properties in that time, and 3 rentals, and have almost all the tools one would ever need. (smile.) Other than full carpet, structure, and roofing, I've done all the work myself.
