FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Shortly after my God-daughter Avery was born I got a camera and I found that I just could not put it down. I loved sending my film in and getting the prints back. I started seeing the world different. I saw light in a new way. I had never thought of photography as a career I had no idea what it took to make all the stunning images I saw. So I started looking into schools and applied to Brooks Institute of Photography. It was the best decision I ever made. I then started working with other photographers getting hands on experience.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish people knew how hard it really is. Not everyone can just go out and buy a digital camera and take amazing photos. A great photographer sees the small changes in light and how it hits the subject. They know how to place people in the frame and how to make people feel at ease in front of the camera. A lot of work goes into what we do.
