FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied journalistic video production in undergrad and went on to get an MFA in Documentary Film at Stanford University.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs I do for clients is telling the story of a program or an organization. And I have done that mostly for non-profits that want to get a video that tells what they do in a concise way.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish that customers knew how work intensive making videos can be. It takes a lot of energy to go to the site, bring equipment, spend time getting to know people, remember all the technicalities of the equipment and focus while shooting. But then, the behind the scenes also takes a lot of time. Sifting through hours of footage, writing the story, putting shots together, color correction, audio corrections and all that happens in the editing room. Its a lot!
