I gave Drew quite the task in editing raw footage from our wedding (which we shot on a vintage, Hi-8 film camcorder) into cohesive wedding videos and he did it seamlessly! He created 3 videos of differing lengths, a couple shorter, punchy, high energy videos which are perfect for quick viewing/sharing with others as well as a longer, more uncut version - perfect for watching on anniversaries or with parents.Drew was easy to communicate with and made sure he understood my vision. He was helpful all along the way, and made it super easy on me, walking me through how to upload everything for him. He even adjusted and improved the audio and added the music i wanted.The final product is exactly what I was hoping for - a timeless ode to our wedding day which will help my husband and I, as well as our families, remember such a cherished day for many years to come! Hiring Drew was one of the best decisions I made. I brought him on through my company for a project that required producing, directing, and shooting, with many moving parts involved, and he exceeded expectations at every step.He went above and beyond, even bringing additional equipment I hadnt requested just to ensure I had everything I needed. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price accordingly based off my shooting and editing rate for the projected time of each job. I require a 20 percent deposit down. I have some flexibility with pricing if I am not required to edit footage.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically ask for the customer to meet via in person or face chat. I will first ask some questions to get to know my client. From there we will go over the project and the deliverables. I will address any client concerns and provide my client with an invoice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in communication with a focus on digital media. I am a two-time award winner in my college for films I produced. More specifically I am an expert human to human communicator with an extreme amount of empathy. I am trained in documentary production and film making that requires interaction.
