FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices vary and are mostly determined by the square footage and age of house. Homes over 50 years old tend to be more of a challenge in determining age and serviceability of certain components such as electric. heating, plumbing, etc. Additional fees also apply to Water, Septic and Radon testing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customer's contact me initially by phone or email. I discuss the process of the home inspection. If the customer agrees to terms we schedule a time and date at their convenience to meet at the house they are purchasing. A pre-inspection agreement is emailed prior to inspection so customer has time to review process of inspection
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of remodeling and renovation experience. I have taken over 400 hours of classroom education and obtained my home inspection license in accordance with State laws of New Hampshire. I am also a member of the ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors). ASHI is the nations oldest and most respected home inspection associations. I use ASHI standards of inspection which meet or exceed New Hampshire and national standards of inspection.
