Anthony Nardi says, "I cannot express how grateful I am to the people at Brookside. After a week long trip, I came home at 11:00pm Jan 31st to a 48 degree house and a pool of water in my basement. After calling a handful of different companies (who were less then helpful) I landed with Brookside.Sunday Feb. 1st: Attikan came out and spent a long time troubleshooting my boiler. He was thorough and meticulous about checking each part of the system to rule things out, making sure each part was running as it should, communicating to other parts accordingly, and getting the right amount of power. Attikan didn't just blindly replace parts, he was patient, walked me through everything he was doing and answered all my questions along the way. After we determined the boiler system was operating as it should, we found a blockage due to a frozen pipe in one of my heating zones. Attikan was conscious about the 'after-hours' rate I was being charged and we decided to call it a night and he would try to get someone back the next day. That was really nice of him to think about that for me.Monday Feb 2nd: Dave (who Attikan, had been on the phone with at one point the night before) came out with two other guys, both named Alex, to address the frozen pipe. I think Dave could tell that, as a new homeowner experiencing this for the first time, I was anxious about the situation I was in because he was positive the whole time. He immediately started to make a plan for heating the pipes to melt the ice and restore water to the loop. When we found a leak, Dave fixed it in minutes. Dave also explained everything along the way and answered all my questions. For certain things, he would call me over to the boiler to show me what he was doing and why he was doing it. As a new homeowner, appreciate things like that.Thank you very much to the team at Brookside!"
