Rory is an honest, very knowledgeable roofing expert who did a fantastic job repairing and re-roofing our 10' x 12' shed. He's also friendly and didn't mind answering all of my ignorant questions, in a way that didn't make me feel like an idiot (which I can tend to be when it comes to anything requiring skilled labor). I always like to get 2-3 quotes on jobs like this. Not only was Rory's price 3x's lower than the other quote I received (even the USAA insurance agent was taken aback by how high the other quote I received) but when I originally submitted my request on Thumbtack, I had put that I wasn't going through insurance. However, I then decided to submit it just incase they would cover the roof repair, since it had been damaged in a storm. The other company that quoted me had one price if I was going to go through insurance, and another price if I was going to pay out of pocket. When I called Rory to ask if he wanted to re-quote since I was going to be submitting the repair to our homeowner's insurance, his response was, "No. It would be the same price either way." Isn't that the way it should be? We'll be replacing the roof on our house in a year or two, and when we do, we will be using R.C. Exterior for sure.
