The class was great. Jason makes the class fun and cooking easy. He goes above and beyond , teaching not only recipes and techniques but also food safety. I'm definitely learning a lot and look forward to the next class.
How did they do that? Dealing with Stephen and Kayla was a delightful and easy experience. We had a Sizzling Summer Pool Party with 50 guests and a live band. Safe Haven Catering listened to my desires and requests of menu ideas and created a bountiful feast that was greeted with multiple compliments. Many of the foods were prepared and cooked om site. Steve and Kayla came with everything they needed. Enspite of an early rain storm, the sun came out and the party went off without a hitch. Our guests went back for seconds and thirds because they could not get enough of the variety of flavors and the homemade sauces. So many favorites just to name a few; Mexican Bean Salad, Veggie Sushi, Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms, Marinated Shrimp, Chicken, Beef on Skewers, Homemade Cheese Ball, Green Salad with Strawberries, Pecans, Goat Cheese and Raspberry Dressing!! Steve and Kayla also did a super clean job picking up and cleaning the kitchen where some of the prep work was done. Our party was running late because of the rain and they offered to come back the next day to pick up serving dishes and table settings because they had another catering commitment to go to. This couple is very conscientious and aim to please. Consider Steven and Kayla for your next function. You will not be disappointed.
I work in the Cultural department of the French Cultural Center in Boston and Aurélie has partnered with us for one of our family events, the Fete des Rois, held on January 9th. Aurelie has done an outstanding job by preparing 100% home made and from scratch, eight gorgeous galettes. They were delicious and '' even better than in France'' some attendees said. I have only worked with Aurelie for one time but I know that I would definitely contact her again for other events related to French food. or French cooking classes. She is also very friendly and sweet and it is a great pleasure to partner with her.
My wife loves to cook but is busy with work. So I signed us up to have home cooking classes with Donna. I can't tell you how much value we got out of the class, from basic tips for myself and pro tips for my wife the experience was top notch. She even did a class with our parents. Donna is easy to work with and shopped for the ingredients we didn't have on hand. I highly recommend Donna for classes of any size.
My two boys have taken cooking classes from Tanya the Homestyle Gourmet for years. They love her classes, camps and workshops. My 13 year old will often make cookies on his own in the evenings AND HE CLEANS UP AFTER HIMSELF! My 11 year old makes a variety of different guacamoles on his own and they both are interested in helping with meals and meal planning.

Our party of five hired Shilpi for a private Indian cooking class at her home in Andover MA. We had a wonderful time. Shilpi was warm, welcoming, and well prepared. After a quick lesson in Indian spices, we immediately got down to cooking five delicious dishes. It was a lot of fun and the hands-on teaching along with the detailed handouts will make it easy to recreate the delectable recipes at home. We highly recommend Shilpi and her cooking classes.
Some people call me a foodie. Yes, I have to admit a fascination with deliciousness, whether it's a simple pot roast with carrots and fingerling potatoes, a spicy seafood jambalaya with andouille, or a salad of beets, sunchokes, and Chevre on spring greens. I count myself lucky, then, to have discovered Sean O'Brien's cooking. He shops for me if necessary, or invents a menu from foods I have on hand. I suggest Mexican, and it turns out he has extensive knowledge of unusual chilies that make splendid New Mexican enchiladas and has a gourmet meal on the table soon after. He's cooked in my home every week for months, preparing a variety of dishes that are ready to eat, or that he stores for me to warm up later on. The dishes range from subtle to bold, from boutique ethnics to good old American, all produced with remarkably little of the pan rattling and cursing the companies my own homemade cuisine. And the meals are amazing. If you want good food prepared efficiently to serve in your own home, along with friendly patter and a wealth of cooking lore, give him a call.
