Downstairs is a more low-key bar with a dining area towards the rear. I haven't had the food yet, but it did look amazing and more on the fancier side! The several times I have been there, I go upstairs where the dance floor, another bar, and a dj are. From what I have personally encountered, most of the patrons are on the friendlier side. Special shout out to bartenders Pamela and Angel! Friendly and welcoming security staff as well. Thank you to the owners for opening a new "safe space" where people can just be who we are. As a LGBTQ+ person and an Asbury Park "regular," I enjoy this place enough that I think I will be dividing my nights out between the two.

Stopped by for dinner on a Sunday. The decor and aesthetic is very well done! Classy and polished vibe; everything is clean and updated as well. The food was phenomenal! Had the Bolognese which is only available on a unique menu for Sinatra Sundays, which had several other themed items. Was one of the best bolognese Ive ever had. The Twinkletini cocktail was amazing, as was the chocolate cake and crme brle (especially when you pair them together). It had a great vibe and atmosphere and had a very diverse clientele which was really nice to see. All the employees were sweet and welcoming as well. Was one of the highlights of our visit to AC and will definitely be coming back next time we visit!

Always looked for a gay bar when going to Atlantic City. This place just opened January of 2025 and it did not disappoint. We arrived Thursday night, unfortunately the place was closing early but we did come the next day (Friday) for food . The food is perfect if you want something delicious but not too heavy, they have it. If you want a burger, they got you. We started with the hummus(no picture) and had the "Gay of the day" and "The bougie bae". There are many vegetarian options (not sure if they are vegan tho) I was told that it turns to a club later tonight. The downstairs bar is big and full this Friday. Still haven't checked out upstairs. We will be coming to the Byrdcage every time we come to AC. Can't wait to bring the BOYS & Girls next time
