Introduction: I view photography as an opportunity to tell a story. I believe in using images to build connections to people, places, and experiences. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then it might as well tell a good story. So let me help you tell yours. I take great pride in making the process as collaborative and as comfortable as possible. I like to get to know my clients and their expectations both for the shoot as well as the finished product in order to make something truly wonderful.

Wedding and Event Photography

Tola was wonderful to work with. He was responsive and kept us in the loop about our photos. We loved our wedding photos and couldn’t have been happier with them. We had a beach wedding and he scouted out our location prior to our day. Although we got married on a public beach, he did a beautiful job editing out any beach goers that were in our photos. Tola was a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend him.

I have had photos taken by Tola during several events, and each and every time, they have proven to be nothing short of amazing. He has a gift for photography, and an eye that really helps to capture the moments that mean the most. And above all, he makes everyone look good while doing it! I have attached my most favorite photo from Tola that I have used for nearly any and everything. A very large thank you to him for all of the work he does in taking photos.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

No two jobs are exactly alike. Pricing often depends on three things: 1. The nature of the shoot 2. How the resulting images will be used 3. Technical and logistical considerations. For a example, a typical hour long portrait session fee may start at approximately $225

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to get to know my clients on a personal level. Before working on a shoot, I wanna to know about the purpose of the shoot. I want them to know what they can expect from me and I would like to know what to expect from them. We'll also talk about the look and feel of what we're aiming for with the shoot and how that might affect the finished images. As a general rule, I try not to pose my subjects if I don't have to. I typically like for motions, positions, and gestures to be as natural as possible. That said, I will make small suggestions if I think it is necessary.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm a member of the Professional Photographers of America. This allows to to have access to resources, training, and best practices from industry leaders. I also keep a library that's well stocked with books on photography and portraiture and I have also participated in a few online courses. However, any photographer worth their salt will tell you that there is no substitute for getting out there and taking pictures. I hope the variety of pictures that I have displayed will speak to my level of expertise and experience on the subject.
