Introduction: Hudson Clean Hive LLC is a residential cleaning company that officially formed in 2019 and services houses, apartments, and offices the North Jersey area. The company was formed on the basis of “taking care of the community hive” like bees do: with quality, skill, proper tools and the mindfulness that small actions can have a greater, global impact. Owner Melissa Heule, a Ramapo College of New Jersey graduate, is a participant with "Cleaning for a Reason" -- the non-profit that provides complimentary cleanings for cancer patients. In 2020, she completed the Coronavirus-oriented Home Cleaning Technician's Course. And, she was featured in the Fort Lee Regional Chamber of Commerce's "Members at Work" livestream and podcast discussing cleaning in the Covid-19 era.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer deals on initial cleanings especially for essential / frontline workers who remained on-the-job during the pandemic. And I also offer discounts to those who have given back to other small businesses in their communities (e.g. when customers share a receipt from dining out, a hair or nail salon visit, a stop at their favorite small coffee shop, etc.)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free consultations and estimates can be done in person (preferably) or via video app. Once we find out size, layout, and other important features and nuances that can be discovered with a thorough conversation, I can provide an estimate for first-time "deep" cleanings which take more time, products, and attention; and then subsequent "maintenance" sessions. Price also varies by weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly frequency, or any interruption.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Coronavirus HCTL training with Bruce Vance; CBF maid business consultation program membership; and perfect maintenance cleaning training, to maximize the time and value of each session.
