Leonardo is outstanding! He is an artisan with many talents. He did a beautiful job repairing my coffee table and we chatted a bit during the process. I learned he is also a millworker and lighting designer so we're now working on more projects together. He is charming, honest, and fastidious.

I hired Guillaume to replace about 200 ft of rotted wood trim around my house and detached garage. It was a great experience from start to finish. The quote was prepared quickly and the price was right. The value added from "G" was his knowledge of the building materials and his recommendation to go with Azek over traditional wood so that the same areas wouldn't experience the rotting again. He was very meticulous using a wide array of tools to correct any flaws in the original construction of the garage. He showed up on time, finished in the time promised and cleaned up before he left.

We hired Building Paradise to install all of the black oak cabinets in our kitchen. What a beautiful and meticulous job. We have an old house and being handy homeowners who have ourselves installed a bathroom, tiled, etc., know all too well how difficult it is to work with a room and walls that are not square and a floor that is not level. Building Paradise's workmanship and attention to detail was incredible, making up for our house's quirks to ensure a perfectly level and completely secured kitchen. We highly, highly recommend this company. Not only is the work top-notch, the owner as well as his workers are professional, sincere, and extremely nice to deal with, the prices are fair, and, last but not least, the work is done when promised. As this is a full-service contracting company, we will definitely be utilizing its services again and again for many years to come.

We need to fix wooden ceiling panels. It was 18’ high and angled. I worry the quality of work if someone wouldn’t meet our expectation. Fabio did a great job and meet the schedule. The moldings matched the wooden ceiling and installed them well. I recommend him for this kind of millwork or similar works.

I cannot say enough good things about working with Jim and the work he did. I needed to have a kitchen backsplash and under-cabinet lighting installed, which would first require undoing—and redoing correctly—much of the work done by a previous electrician. Jim came one evening to "survey the damage," took copious notes, chatted about the options, and within the week, emailed his quote. Which was extremely reasonable—and $1,000 less than a bid from a contractor who made my job sound like a VERY big deal. Oh, also, I asked (begged!) if he could get it done by Thxgiving, which was like barely a month away. Jim said he would do everything he could to accommodate that—and he did! Jim came with his subs every morning, made sure everything was set up and everyone knew the drill, and he came back at the end of most days to check on the status. He has the highest standards (as do the guys who work for him)—which was reflected in the fabulous job they did, AND even the way they left the work site every day. (I should only clean up that well....) I highly recommend Jim for ANY reno work needed (he does exceptional millwork, too) and can't wait to have him back for more of my home improvements!

Jim did a great job painting a two story foyer. He came out to give an estimate and completed the job within a week. At times, we had to wait a few days for a response due to how busy he was, but all worked out as promised. We hope to hire him again in the future.

From the very beginning to the very end, New York Custom Interior Millwork consistently provided top-notch service, both in terms of facilitating a smooth process and achieving outstanding results. The project for my home included the construction of built-in closets, an entertainment center, radiator cover, book shelves, file cabinets, bar and more. The project presented unique challenges that required customized solutions. In every instance, they stepped up to the challenge and delivered creative solutions that were both highly functional and very beautiful. They were extremely professional while also very personable. They were extraordinarily well-organized and still very flexible. They were always upbeat and patient, even when I changed my mind and made extra requests. They stuck to the budget and did not tack on any unexpected charges. They were committed to making me happy. And they succeeded!
