Jason was very methodical and careful with this project. He replaced 4 faucets (3 of which were rusted out and he ended up using a saw to remove them!), snaked a bathroom faucet drain and replaced the drain pipes under 3 sinks. He was very professional and cleaned up after himself. Even though the work was more than what he budgeted for, he still honored the price. Because of his integrity, I paid him more and it was worth every penny. I highly recommend him and would definitely hire him again.
My Furnace was incredibly loud. Sam drained the system which was full of black water and cleaned it with some chemicals so right now the water is clear. Whoever renovated the house had the pressure set way too high so the furnace was overworking. Now the system is almost whisper quiet with no banging pipes and he turned the pressure way down so that it’s working more efficiently. I would highly recommend them to anybody.
Garbage disposal installation. We ran into some issues because Marty was nice enough to come on a Sunday, but had limited access to some of the plumbing pipes because the original owner of my house had damaged the pipes. He did fantastic. Went out of his way to make sure everything worked perfect. Even made an additional visit to make sure everything was still working perfectly. I'm looking forward to working with him again when I need work done. Hopefully he'll be happy to work with us again too!
Mike got right to work to solve problem. No time wasted, got in, fixed it, got out after explained why the pipe damage occurred and recommend future maintenance schedules to prevent future failures.
Nick was efficient spent no time delaying when he got to our house. He didn't try to up-charge us or try to get another project out of us. He was easy to get in touch with and also responded quickly. We will definitely be contact him again if need be! Thanks so much for helping fix our leaky pipe!
Jorge was excellent in his communication with me about when he would arrive and was prompt in returning text messages. He installed 2 dishwashers in our rental units where there had previously been none! A more complicated job that just a remove and replace- and he did a great job! When the height of the dishwasher was a problem- he figured out a way to fix it. He brought extra pipes and parts and I needed to use some of them- Home Depot hadn't thought to recommend that to me- good thing Jorge did! He cleaned up the work site and was so polite and an overall nice guy. He gave a great price and did a great job. He didn't have time to put on the valve on the oven and said he would come back and do that and hook up the dishwasher to the new sink after we got a new counter/ sink installed. Will definitely be calling him again when we need to re-do the old plumbing underneath the kitchen sink further down the road. I'm happy and husband is happy. We finally have a dishwasher!! And our new tenants will be happy too Yay!
Our drain pipes in our bathroom sink had corroded and basically fallen apart. Since this was a semi-emergency situation, we needed a plumber who could come within a day or two. Eddie was able to make time for us and came right on time. I had sent him a photo of the situation and he came fully prepared with all the right parts. After the job was completed, he noticed that the sink was totally clogged, a new problem. He literally stayed another two hours (!) trying to trouble shoot, since the clog had nothing to with his work or the initial problem. He did not ask for extra payment and explained that he just wanted to make sure all was good and we were satisfied. At the end of the day, all was good, and we will definitely call on him again for our next plumbing job.
The job was to unclog a sink and bathtub. Anthony was very quick and clean there really wasn't anything he could of done better. Anthony went above and beyond after he completed the job giving me advise for the future about the piping and showed me where pipes ran through the the house for future replacement and clean outs.
William was very professional and efficient. He consulted with me and explained the whole process every step of the way. He is a very skilled plumber and was the most affordable by far when it came to replacing 2 major pipes in my bathroom. I am very pleased with his work and will definitely hire him again.
Helped to unhook the washer and dryer in a complicated and clumsy network of pipes. He went to shop and bought the parts. didn't overcharge.
Juan came over on time. There were three things I needed fixed. A drain issue in my bathtub. A pipe leak in the kitchen sink. A pipe leak in the bathroom sink. He fixed the kitchen sink pipe relatively quickly once he evaluated what needed to be done. The bathroom sink was the challenge. Due to the weird setup, Juan had to take apart my wooden set up to get to the pipes. He took it apart, fixed the complex piping and put together the furniture sink cabinet. Next he used a snake to remove all the gunk primarily due to years of hair trapped in there. It will approximately 3 hours of his time and he came at 8pm. He charged me a low price for the job IMO so I gave him a great tip to reward him for the professional service and time. I would definitely recommend him. He knows his plumbing and doesn’t stop until it’s fixed.
My partner and I just moved to NJ from NC and had quite a bit of repairs and upgrades we needed to complete on the new home we purchased. One such upgrade was venting the dryer. This home was built in 1892 so needless to say, the original architectural plan did not include a dryer. The previous owners installed a gas line - but where the gas line had to run to attach to the kitchen stove, made for a really poor location in the basement in regards to venting the dryer. Before Nick came, he let me know a price for a best case scenario, which I appreciated because had he named a price over my budget, it would have given us both the opportunity to cancel the estimate so as not to waste time. Nick arrived on-time for the estimate and at first it was pretty tricky to find a solution for venting the dryer without completely tearing up the ceiling and walls. Nick was persistent in finding though and was able to devise a plan of going through an old nonfunctional window that was hidden and covered. I hired him to complete the dryer venting and also uncap the gas line and install a hose in preparation for the dryer installation. On the day of the project, Nick arrived on time (7:30am on a Saturday) It took him about 2.5 hours to complete everything. He did a fantastic job. One strength I want to highlight is that Nick not only gets the job done, and does it well, but also takes pride in the aesthetics of his work. He could have easily vented the dryer in a way that exposed the pipe all the way along the ceiling and through the window, but instead he figured out a way to fish it under the sheet rock for a cleaner look. He also cleaned his work space completely - which I have found to be rare for contractors in this area. I have had many contractors who were ready to walk out the door without cleaning up their mess and would have done so had I not asked them to clean up before they go. I also want to highlight that I had a sewage pipe issue in the basement prior to his dryer venting project. Nick also does plumbing so I called him at 4pm and he was at my house by 8pm. People who who have hired folks for sewage pipe leaks know that cleaning up the sewage is not part of the job. Nick was willing to clean and sanitize on top of snaking the pipes and clearing them of clogs for a reasonable price. Nick has been great to work with and does great work. I have already hired him to take care of some other projects around the house (installing a shower door, clearing debris in the backyard). Glad we found a go-to handyman for our new home!
We bought a house a little over a year ago in Springfield. In that time we have run across some truly dishonest and unprofessional people. I must say the Billy is by far the best person that we ever allowed to work on any plumbing in our home. He has fixed a multitude of problems for me from water pressure issues to leaky pipes that were previously installed incorrectly. The man is a godsend. Thanks Billy!
Based on such a positive experience with J&R Quality Repair, I'd personally recommend their services for any of your plumbing needs. Jason and Rick are two of the most professional tradesmen I have worked with; they are punctual, professional, organized and very friendly. I hired them for two separate projects: 1. Completely re-pipe a natural gas boiler system that had multiple leaks/corrosion and 2. complete plumbing for two bathrooms we renovated at our home. When I initially spoke with Jason about the projects he asked me to take several pictures in advance from my phone, so he had an idea of the exact parts and effort that was required. The boiler project was completed in several hours, all of the pipes/connections are leak free and aligned professionally. After the winter season, the work was 100% issue free, there are no leaks and the system is functioning flawlessly. For the bathrooms we renovated, J&R helped in two phases of the project. They initially helped disconnect the sinks, showers, tubs and toilets. We completed all of the sheetrock, tile work, and painting. J&R then returned to complete the plumbing /reconnect all of the new appliances and finishing work. Everything now looks amazing; all of the fixtures Jason recommended function great and I feel comfortable knowing parts can be easily sourced if there is a problem after years of use. I have already provided their contact information to several friends that have plumbing needs; I also look forward to utilizing their services for any additional projects in the future.
I had a huge leak from the upstairs shower. Gio and Benny arrived and took their time figuring out where the leak was coming from. They were honest and said that it was not a pipe causing the issue. They figured out that in fact it was NOT GROUT on the shower base but SILICONE! They recommended grouting first and see if that works. IT WORKED! I’m so grateful for their honesty and integrity. They are now going to install the shower door. The previous idiots that used silicone instead of grout couldn’t put back properly and eventually one of the doors shattered! These guys are GREAT! I highly recommend them. Yolanda
Marius not only took the time to swing by my house to see what extra supplies I may need, but he also showed me how to do the job in case I needed to do it myself elsewhere in the house. Very reasonable and friendly. Highly recommended.
Manny came right out in an emergency situation. He made sure he had the necessary materials and that the job was done right. Also his price was very reasonable even though they came out late because of the burst pipe. Highly recommended!
I had 4 people come in to give me a quote for this job (tub drain pipe needed replacement, so did pipes leading to boiler). Fabio was the last person to give me a quote and the most professional. He explained things patiently, politely and was super friendly. He went back to his truck and gave me a printout of exactly what the quote was for the jobs. The only written quote of the day! I was also impressed with how thorough he was and how neat he left the area. Highly recommended!
The sewer pipe that leads to my toilet started to leak a few months ago and I decided to call Cajeton after hearing about him from friends who said he does great work. So after speaking to him and telling him that I feared the pipe is going to break, due to a crack I discovered on the pipe. Cajeton came to my house immediately and assessed the problem. He was already prepared with equipment he needed to fix the pipe. After an hour or so my pipe was leaking no more! I must say I was impressed at how diligently And quickly he worked. Since fixing my pipe it has not leaked again. I would definitely use Cajeton for for any other plumbing issues that may come up again.
Rocky (assisted by Paul) did a great job upgrading the installation of the auto fill valve on my boiler by rerouting the pipe. I am very pleased with the result. Rocky did not rush the job. I would definitely hire him again.
Alex came over right away to deal with a pipe that I thought needed to be sodered. He quickly realized it needed to be replaced - he had the parts and repaired it and checked it with me right then and there. Great service - would recommend!
