John C. says, "# 1 - they responded immediately after I did the Thumb Tac form in the late afternoon and arrived a couple minutes past the appointment time the very next day. It was a very small repair - took him 20 minutes maybe less to solve - a light switch with a 3 wire splice would not work and I was stumped. Thumb Tac said average cost was $60 to $120 . I think Thumb Tac uses this as a come on to get you to call their people. Kind of like Bait & Switch. He wanted to charge $250. but we negotiated down to $225. Do I feel the $225 was a fair price for the time it took to make the repair.... not really. But for their responsiveness - quality of work - and professionalism in knowing how to solve the problem I give them 5 stars. Would I call them again - Yes"See more
