- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a semi-professional track & field athlete for many years, as well as a high school coach. I've spent many hours on massage tables and having physician treatments. I realize that true healing of the body must come from natural means not chemical. I love re-educating the body to sustain itself. Massage and personal training allows me to share my gift and it makes me smile seeing the change in another. From physical relaxation to self -confidence I am happy to provide a natural remedy for healing the body.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Sports Masage-Stretching-deep tissue work and muscular extension to reduce tightness and knots. Relaxation Massage- release of tension via pressure point work and vibration as well and smooth strokes of muscular insertion points. Speed & Agility/Sport Specific Training- muscular and cardiovascular endurance training. Multiple Methods such as ployometrics and ballistic work. Mental Imagery. Fitness - improve cardiovascular and muscular strength and increase flexibility.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My number one advice is to make sure that you are open to being "exposed". By that I mean I provide a complete session which requires you to be honest about your health and realistic about your expectations.
