My move entails packing up a two bedroom condo in CT. then storing it and moving the contents to Florida once I find a home there. Global 1 movers quoted me a fair price. The company arrived exactly on time. There was a crew of four men and a clean, new looking vehicle. The foreman went over paperwork with me and then they got to work immediately. They worked quietly, neatly and were extremely respectful of my belongings and my home. The men were so gracious when I gave them ice water as it was a rather hot day. There was no down time, smoking, or talking on cell phones. I was really impressed with the way they packed my furniture. Much of what I own is glass and they packed it with four different types of protection and handled it with great care. The crew worked for 6 hours with a short 20 minute lunch break. At the end of the day the boss came to the move site to check out how things were going and helped with wrapping up the move. I could not have been more satisfied. If things go this well on the other end when I find my home in Florida, and they deliver and set up my belongings, I will highly recommend this company.

An AWESOME experience
Global 1 Movers get the maximum number of stars in our book. My wife and I must have spoken with over 20 movers. Eric (the president of Global 1) was patient, well informed, caring and considerate. Eric stayed in touch with us the entire time (about 3 months from pickup to delivery), even during his vacation abroad in December. That to us is going above and beyond.
The pickup went exceptionally well. They were on-time, courteous and efficient. The crew and their supervisor made us feel as if they were packing and loading their own personal belongings. This impressed my wife greatly. The first month of storage was FREE with Global 1 and Eric gave us a great deal on the additional time we needed.
The delivery at our new home (across several states), again went extremely well. Once again Eric communicated with us every step of the way. We were never left wondering. The driver of the truck called us 24 hours in advance of his arrival (a very nice touch by-the-way) and again when he was 30 minutes away. They arrived earlier than originally anticipated. Again a great consideration for someone who is moving. We constantly knew where our belongs were. We felt and still feel like Global 1 is very much a costumer centric company. They put us first every step of the way. The delivery crew, like the pickup crew, were efficient as ever and we were all unloaded and setup well in advance of my personal estimate.
It is my belief that every business needs to make a profit. A FAIR profit, that is what makes a democracy grow. Global 1 was not the least expensive solution for us, neither were they the most expensive. However, the VALUE we got for the entire move was off the charts. For us, that is the real test.
Thank you Eric and Global 1. We will definitely do our next move (if we move again) with you and we will recommend you to everyone! You guys set the standard by which the entire moving industry needs to live up to.

I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE AT GLOBAL 1 MOVERS FOR MAKING THIS AN EASY PROCESS!
Moving from NJ to AZ is quite a move and I didn't know what to expect since I've never moved this far before. I was originally a little skeptical to choose the company becasue of some bad reviews but their price was very fair and they seemed to be the most detail-oriented and professional out of the other 3 bids I received. I had originally planned our move to be in early February but my closing happened much faster than expected.
With Global 1, I was able to change my move date to the date I needed without a problem. Having moved so many things, and packing some myself, I expected somethings to be damaged along the way but to my surprise only a couple dented boxes. The movers did a great job packing my stuff.
During the pick up the guys were incredible.My husband and I were blown away at how diligent these men worked! Extremely fast and efficient. Thanks to Oscar and his team.
I needed delivery on a specific date but had to rearrange my schedule a bit because they explained to me there was no guaranteed date, only an estimation of about 7-10 business days and updates along the way.
Upon the delivery, the driver William and his team were just as great as the first team. The delivery was faster than the pick-up. Again, I was impressed.
Overall, as mentioned before there were some dented boxes but nothing damaged inside the boxes. I was also very satisfied with the customer service I received when calling or emailing any questions I had. Joe and Nicole were very insightful and quick to reply!
I will definitely recommend this company to all my relatives and friends on the East coast and will definitely use them again on any future moves!

I have moved across country 3x in 9 years and hate moving. This was by far my best experience! The crew on both ends was excellent. For the first time ever all of my stuff was intact! The stem off one old wine glass was the only think broken in our entire house. They even took apart our bunk beds and put them back together better than they were to start! The only problem we had was our quote was much lower than our final bill. I had anticipated that and had planned for it since our quote was over the phone but it was still frustrating. All in all best movers ever!
