She received rave reviews from the hosts. She is an exceptional talent where she can sing any song and to any crowd. Nico has the ability to look at a crowd and sense what kind of music they would like. She constantly interacted with the audience and everyone one loved her. He was approachable, had a huge repertory of songs they could offer, and they gave our wedding in Brooklyn a really classy atmosphere. Their repertory doesn't only limit to Jazz, ask them and you'll be surprised. Having been a musician myself, I was looking for skill and taste. Jonathan's band has it, and their singer was amazing. She performed tune after tune, was versatile and had a silky voice perfect to warm up our Fall Wedding. I cannot recommend them enough, although for everyone who attended our wedding there is no need for recommendation as they all loved it. Her rendition of Hymne à L’Amour brought everybody to tears. Vlada sang songs that were jazz, French and American Classics (La Vie en Rose, C’est si bon, Fly me to the Moon, L-O-V-E) and interpretations of popular music (Beatles, John Lennon, Elvis and Alicia Keys) and the mood was exactly the elegant New York City nightclub vibe that we wanted. Vlada sang and performed on guitar and brought a second musician who played the keyboard. He was great too! The music was just perfect and enjoyed by everyone! I tried for several years with YouTube videos and one other teacher in NY, but the motivation waned. I've been excited to come to weekly lessons for 6 months with Anthony. He has an unusual combination of extreme skill and extreme humility and warmth. My parents are both professional classical musicians so even though I am a beginner in guitar I appreciate his skill. Also, they have commented that I am making great, steady progress and that the accompanying theory I am learning is very sound. Anthony is flexible, allowing me to learn the songs I want to play for my newborn and my husband, and adjusting them for my level, while working theory in between, always making it fun and laid back.
