I have known Jen for many years and have been on the receiving end of yoga and qi gong practices as well as source point healing. Jen is one of the most intelligent, insightful, kind, thorough, thoughtful, and generous teachers and healers I have come in contact with in my own 20 or so year career as a professional in embodied practices. Most recently I had been suffering from pain in my hip joint that had limited my movement for several months. Jen spent at least an hour and a half, if not more, using various techniques in source point healing. Afterwards, I felt a marked improvement in my hip mobility and ease from pain, which continued to increase throughout the following days. This was about three months ago now and that pain is gone and my mobility is at the same point as my other hip. Simultaneously after the session I was left with a great feeling of groundedness through my feet toward the earth, spaciousness through my spine skyward, and a general sense of well-being. I highly recommend Jennifer. In addition to being a wonderful teacher and healer, she is always learning and gaining deeper understandings of form from her own disciplined practices, unending curiosity, and desire to share.

Aaron has been a great teacher. He's real experienced and knows what he's doing, and does a great job of sharing the things he knows with me, a guy who mostly doesn't/didn't know anything about tai chi. Be taught by him!

I attended a Tai Chi lecture. Usually lectures are boring drawnout and the presenter gives too much information, but Markus made everything simple, and all the content was usable. I decided to connect with him to take private lessons and six months later I'm a very happy customer.

After having trained in Tai Chi in another school for 6 years, I went to study with Sifu Lin and he showed me some footwork that made everything fall into place. He is extremely patient and observant and makes suggestions that can help advance your skill. He is also knowledgeable in an area few people are: the martial applications of Tai Chi forms. I would highly recommend his classes.

About

I provide Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong classes and private lessons. I have been teaching Tai Chi/QiGong classes for 5 years now at St. Margaret’s House on Fulton Street. I have also taught at Boom Fitness (3rd Ave.), Excelsior Athletic Club and CNR HealthCare. The program that I teach has been embraced by both young and older clients because of the unique stretching and energy work out. The Tai Chi program guides the mind into the body and releases stresses, much like yoga does, and at the same time, builds up the legs and balance skills.

About

I am empowering clients to improve health, wellness, and balance through a combination of Eastern and Western practices. As a Reiki master, I offer energy work at balance with over 16 years of experience with the Usui Reiki Healing System. In 2008, I began my studies with Healing Touch International reaching Apprentice Level HTI-PA. For community service, I am a volunteer at two local hospitals offering both forms of energy medicine as part of the hospitals' patient care services. Restore, Relax and Replenish with the Healing Touch of Reiki - Reiki is an Eastern healing tradition that aids in stress reduction and relaxation. Healing Touch is a Western energy-based program that is endorsed by the American Holistic Nurse's Association. Both modalities are used in hospitals, non-invasive and effective to restore harmony and balance in the body's energy system and complements all approaches of health care. The initial extended visit is to get to know more about you and to best address your individual needs and/or goals. Studies have shown that soothing techniques can facilitate the relaxation response and also offer the following: * Relieve muscle tension and headaches - Calms anxiety and depression * Eases chronic and acute conditions - Reduce side effects of chemotherapy * Enhance mental clarity and focus - Increase energy and immune function * Pre/post surgical procedures - Pain relief and management Sports performance and recovery - Emotional healing Health enhancement classes Classes offered locally with certifications as a Tai Chi Easy Practice Leader with the Institute of Integral QiGong and Tai Chi and as an Ai Chi Trainer (warm water therapy) through ATRI. I have designed a new program for women's wellness called BellyGong, a fusion of Bellydance and Qigong. Corporate Wellness On-Site Programs "Office Chi" for the modern workplace and benefits for employers with measurable results. Tai Chi Easy promotes worksite wellness with a combination of Tai Chi and Qigong movements that are easy to learn and beneficial from the very first class. Taking a 30 minute "Chi" break at the office can increase productivity, enhance performance, and improve ergonomics for effective injury prevention.
