Hi, I am Rui Guerreiro, the owner and manager of Gowagon packing + moving. Before I ever imagined I would own my own company, I was a young worker at JetBlue, impressed by its level of engagement with customers and employees. I began my own career in customer service with a few small moves, then larger ones, and now manage a team of movers who make Gowagon successful. Managing customers is one of the most challenging and rewarding aspects of running a business. JetBlue has been a constant inspiration. I've been learning and growing in the moving business now for 18 years and still going strong. We start and end each move with a focus on human interaction - we are moving people, not boxes, through their lives or from one home to the next, and when we remember that it helps us deliver them to their next destination with a smooth and stress free experience. We are a small transparent company with affordable pricing and flexibility - we understand that sometimes life changes quickly and we help our customers adapt to those changes by being able to adjust quickly as well. I learned a lot from my time with Jetblue, and also felt like part of a caring team - a feeling I carry over into my interactions with team members and customers at Gowagon - we are always happy to help you move! Very responsive business owner and fairly priced, i decided to work with them to deliver a furniture i purchased from CB* in NYC (i live in Philadelphia). I completely underestimated the size of my move, and was utterly overwhelmed as I hurtled toward the closing date. Fortunately, I found GoWagon just in time.
Rui and his team were awesome! They were flexible, accommodating, efficient, and kind…even when I realized after scheduling that we’d planned the move into NYC for - that’s right, folks - the day of the New York marathon. 😩😂
Not only did everything get done for a *very* fair and reasonable price, the GoWagon vibe was exactly what I needed at what could have been full-on panic time. I would definitely use them again, and will recommend them to friends when they need a hand!
