FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is done on the case by case bases. During our evaluation, I will assess the situation and all contributing factors (such as family size, pre-existing issues, and overall training goals). Typically, customized packages will be either 5 or 10 weeks. Larger packages will be discounted. Usually, individual sessions will not be sufficient to reach training goals, so a package is recommended first. Individual “refresher” lessons can be added afterwards as needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all starts with an evaluation. I need to see the dog’s behavior in its own home. While owners do their best to describe their pet’s problem areas, it is also helpful to understand the true “why” behind it. This evaluation process allows me to customize a program that fits your lifestyle and training goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was personally trained by an Air Force canine handler about 12 years ago. I have trained professionally ever since. I am also a veterinary technician with over 3 years of experience. I have worked with or trained almost every breed of dog and seen nearly every situation, although I am always up for a new challenge!
