Jose is the BEST! My floors were a disaster and In short order he made them New again. Right on time start to finish, total professional job. Left the house cleaner then when he arrived. I HIGHLY recommend him!

Jose and his crew did an amazing job at a fair price. My house warm my heart and make me smile every day.. They showed up prepared to work. Very professional did an excellent job. I highly recommend for flooring projects. These guys know their stuff. I will definitely use them again and highly refer them out.Jose worked patiently with me to find out the perfect color and really listened what I described and wanted.He was easy to reach during all the process. He made sure I was completely satisfied with his job and my floors look stunning I get so many compliments on them. He has such a great price and his quality and punctually can’t be beat. I had a 100 year old floor that needed help. I hired Jose Gil and scheduled a start date. I was flexible and the date slipped by a day. That was OK. The quote:: Jose and his helper came to the house on time and we discussed the floor and what needed to be done. There were black areas on the oak that needed to be replaced caused by old dog pee, 2 areas each the size of a small kitchen table. The price was reasonable for the work involved. I was expecting a higher price. The first day:: Jose and his worker showed up prepared with the wood needed to replace the dog mess and some nice machines for sanding. It took the worker about 7 hours to replace the wood and fix 12 old radiator holes. A lot of work. Most of the sanding was complete in one day. Radiator holes were practically invisible. The next day Jose and his crew showed up, finished the sanding and put down the first coat of poly. 48 hours after that the final coat was put down. These guys worked hard for many hours and I'm not sure others would have put the effort into this job. The results were great. Much much better than before. The areas replaced initially were whiter and all the same color compared to the original floor which was a bit darker and had variable hues of oak. Yea, it was old, and different pieces of wood absorb different levels of contaminants over a hundred years. They did a good job of matching the average color of the original floor with a bit of stain. I realized that matching the "variability" of the original floor was nearly impossible. They came as close as possible and spent time to adjust the color as best as possible based on their experience. The only area that could have improved is that he missed a small part of the dog mess, but that was interleaved with the new wood. (would have been 5 stars) Good job Jose! I'd hire you again.

BUYER BE WARE!!! This guy Jose from Day & Night Hardwood Floors is a con-artist and an extortionist. I have 4 rooms of wood floors and 13 stairs that I wanted to sand , stain and Polly. He came to see the job and measured 635 ft.² and 13 stairs. We agreed on a price and put everything in writing. I waited three weeks for this guy to come do my job. The day before he was scheduled to start the job, he called me to tell me that he underestimated the job and that he would need more money and tried to jacked up the price we previously agreed. I did not budge and was ready to hire someone else. On the morning that he was supposed to do the job, he called me two hours prior to tell me that he was sick and he could not make it. I reminded him that I waited three weeks for him and that if he could not come then he should send his partners otherwise I would hire someone else. He showed up 90 minutes late with two guys who did not want to wear masks during the Covid-19 pandemic. I provided each with N95 masks. They rough sanded 2 rooms and scrapped a few of the stairs. Within within 30 minutes they stopped and Jose demanded more money. He started saying that there is too much work and that he is not going to work for free. His price for the job went way up and wanted to charge me double the price of what we agreed on for the stairs. When I refused his demands for more money Mr. con-artist and his fellow extortionists packed up their equipments and left my house a complete mess and unsafe for my children to be near. He left wood dusts and chips all over the floors. They even took screws from electric box with them. No one should do business with Day & Night Hard Wood Floors; they will negotiate a price that seems reasonable then try to extort money from you once they start the job. When that fails then they will mess up your project. They tried to robbed me even though I made sure everything was in writing. If anyone chooses to do business with this company just know that you’re dealing with professionals, but a con-artist who with try to extort your hard earned money.

Con artist extortionist wow this guy dary yeah it is true I call saying i was sick I wasn’t feeling good with this pandemic you never now ,so I had to call you to let you know but like you said you waited 13 days so I felt bad and still showed up. However, yeah I did go gave you an estimate but never with no contract. I measure your place with 13 stairs which you didn’t showed up your wife did I told her if the stairs where getting done just the stairs not the side of the stairs (stringers) when I arrive I sanded all the 13 steps riser and tread this guy comes up to me saying he wants the side of the stairs done I had already had given him a really fair price like 1,500 to stain 635 sqf plus the 13 steps and this con artist extortionists comes up to me saying he wants me to sand the side of the steps done I told him noooo we didn’t agreed on that he said no but i want it done and stain I said listen I gave you a price for only the steps no the side I’m already given him $25 dollars for step and now he wants me to get the sides done no way jose I said I ain’t working for free that has to be sanded by hand you know how much time that takes!, so I stop and demanded more money while I was discussing this with dary my guys had already sanded the living room and all rooms. Anyways dary didn’t even pick the color for the stain I was so nice to go the flooring store like 20 min away from his home came back did samples for him on the already sanded floors so he can see how it is going to look we agree on a color and move on. Yeah I demanded more money however I wasn’t going to sand the side of the stairs for free so I stop because he didn’t want to pay more I was asking 20 dollars more per stair that’s $45 per stair which he didn’t want to agree on so I pick up my stuff and left. I can believe this guy calls me a con artist and extortionists he is the con artist of course I already had sanded his hall house for free he didn’t want to pay not even a dime. Lesson learn always when doing an estimated of stairs make sure you talk bout the parts of the stairs with a customer before getting sanded, this can happen to anyone with fools like this shame of French people no races at all but that’s the language they were speaking. 🙏
