FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had the privilege to work with renowned vocal instructor Melissa Cross at her New York City studio. I'm also a graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Arizona
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After years of attempting to make a band situation work in my native NH, I decided to attend the conservatory of recording arts and sciences in Arizona for audio engineering. My goal since I was 18 years old has always been to have a career in music doing multiple things and I'm very happy to say I'm living my dream as well as my goal. Since my decision to pursue music professionally, I have had the pleasure of working with musicians, artists both independent and signed as well as producers and engineers from all over the country. I have had the honor of engineering on a record from artists I've been a fan of and admired for years. I have worked in the studio as both a musician and engineer and I've also done a large amount of work online working with musicians and artist from other parts of the country and even other parts of the world. My goal is to continue with this path I've chosen and improve in all my fields. The most important thing for me is to never stop growing or learning.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common job I do as a voice instructor is help students with the mental aspect of singing. 90% of vocal problems are due to a certain mindset. I work to help cultivate a more productive and positive way of thinking. As a guitar instructor, the most common thing I find myself educating students on is proper pick hand technique.
