The most difficult project, was given to the most capable organization
Why was this project so difficult? The past home owner neglected the 1,600 SF deck that was 20 years old, which left us in a âreplace or refinishâ decision process. I had tried to save the deck as a DIY project, but everything I did was pealing and the bare wood was once again exposed.
I interviewed and got estimates from five different companies, before selecting Star Light Painting for the job. As they know the most about the issues that the deck was undergoing, and even had a local paint supplier come out and test the deck/paint.
The reason I rate this company so high is that they went to the utmost level to make sure that the deck was cleaned from the pealing, sanded where necessary, and cleaning across all areas that need to be repainted.
They worked over several days, always working as to temperature of the deck as what was recommended by the paint product.
The bottom line is that they completed the job on schedule, they keep us advised each step of the way, and did an outstanding job of correcting our major deck issues.
