Denise was very professional and helped get started with my sewing machine. She had helped me pick the machine and when she came over the class, she walked me through the functionality of the basic parts of the machine. She also started me off on my first project. She taught me some basic sewing terminology and guided me through the sewing instruction sheet, helping do the cutting, and sewing. I plan to call her again to do another class.

I would highly recommend Ms.Danielle for all your sewing needs. Unpon meeting Ms.Danielle she was friendly and very knowledgeable. She asked me what my goals and aspirations were and from there on we started our first session. I also was amazed that she even has studied fashion in Paris. I can't wait for our next session next Tuesday. ;)

Britta has been wonderful. She is genuinely excited about the art of sewing and it comes through in her teaching. She was able to get me oriented with sewing rather quickly, both on a machine and hand stitching. She explains things in a way that make them easy to follow and she is very knowledgeable. I had never used a sewing machine before and had only done some minimal hand stitching, and I am now been able to hem my own clothes after just a few sessions. I highly recommend her.

Brenda was flexible with my appointment request and was professional, yet friendly. We designed a custom class on hems for me and I really appreciated Brenda's focus on my specific projects. She was able to incorporate my level of experience so I have plans to set up more class time with Brenda.

Joey was fantastic. He made the most of our time together and showed me new techniques as well as helped me troubleshoot my sewing and overlock machine. He was also just a really nice and pleasant person to work with! I will definitely be in touch for my next project.

    About

With 18 years of experience, we have been teaching New Yorkers to sew longer than any other sewing school in Manhattan. Our teachers all follow this curriculum to make sewing as easy to learn as possible.
