Jason was very methodical and careful with this project. He replaced 4 faucets (3 of which were rusted out and he ended up using a saw to remove them!), snaked a bathroom faucet drain and replaced the drain pipes under 3 sinks. He was very professional and cleaned up after himself. Even though the work was more than what he budgeted for, he still honored the price. Because of his integrity, I paid him more and it was worth every penny. I highly recommend him and would definitely hire him again.
The PVC pipe under my sink came apart (which I thought was broken) and when I talked to Mike on the phone, he told me how to put it back together, which I thought was extremely nice of him. I had him come over anyway, just to make sure it would never come apart again, and he tightened everything up and also gave me advice on how to switch out my bathroom tub faucet. I highly recommend him based on my experience, his prices are reasonable and he is willing to tell you when a job is easy enough for you to do it yourself!
Nick was efficient spent no time delaying when he got to our house. He didn't try to up-charge us or try to get another project out of us. He was easy to get in touch with and also responded quickly. We will definitely be contact him again if need be! Thanks so much for helping fix our leaky pipe!
Our drain pipes in our bathroom sink had corroded and basically fallen apart. Since this was a semi-emergency situation, we needed a plumber who could come within a day or two. Eddie was able to make time for us and came right on time. I had sent him a photo of the situation and he came fully prepared with all the right parts. After the job was completed, he noticed that the sink was totally clogged, a new problem. He literally stayed another two hours (!) trying to trouble shoot, since the clog had nothing to with his work or the initial problem. He did not ask for extra payment and explained that he just wanted to make sure all was good and we were satisfied. At the end of the day, all was good, and we will definitely call on him again for our next plumbing job.
I hired Jorge to install an Ikea sink in my kitchen. We had to replace some pipes just because they were old and corroded. Also since Ikea's sink is not a standard sink, we had to by an extension piece for the drain. We went to Home Depot and bought the additional parts needed. Jorge replaced those parts and installed the sink. His rate was fair. He even returned back, because I used the sink before allowing the caulking to dry properly and resealed the the sink. I am satisfied with the service he provided.
The job was to unclog a sink and bathtub. Anthony was very quick and clean there really wasn't anything he could of done better. Anthony went above and beyond after he completed the job giving me advise for the future about the piping and showed me where pipes ran through the the house for future replacement and clean outs.
David has provided me above and beyond work. He replaced a valve on my toilet and suggested that the plastic pipes they used could break. I told him I had two more toilets, and he said he had extra parts and replace those as well! His price is affordable and his service is top of the line. He values your time and make sure that the service he provides is satisfactory and complete. We even had an issue come up later and he came back to help solve the problem! Would recommend to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, considerate, and affordable plumber!
William was very professional and efficient. He consulted with me and explained the whole process every step of the way. He is a very skilled plumber and was the most affordable by far when it came to replacing 2 major pipes in my bathroom. I am very pleased with his work and will definitely hire him again.
Pete did electrical fixtures, plumbing, adjusted doors and locks and installed a new bathroom vanity. He also fixed roof seams on small roof. The work lasted 2 days. On time and a pleasure to have work in my home. I highly recommend. I'm going to use again in the very near future.
Juan came over on time. There were three things I needed fixed. A drain issue in my bathtub. A pipe leak in the kitchen sink. A pipe leak in the bathroom sink. He fixed the kitchen sink pipe relatively quickly once he evaluated what needed to be done. The bathroom sink was the challenge. Due to the weird setup, Juan had to take apart my wooden set up to get to the pipes. He took it apart, fixed the complex piping and put together the furniture sink cabinet. Next he used a snake to remove all the gunk primarily due to years of hair trapped in there. It will approximately 3 hours of his time and he came at 8pm. He charged me a low price for the job IMO so I gave him a great tip to reward him for the professional service and time. I would definitely recommend him. He knows his plumbing and doesn’t stop until it’s fixed.
My partner and I just moved to NJ from NC and had quite a bit of repairs and upgrades we needed to complete on the new home we purchased. One such upgrade was venting the dryer. This home was built in 1892 so needless to say, the original architectural plan did not include a dryer. The previous owners installed a gas line - but where the gas line had to run to attach to the kitchen stove, made for a really poor location in the basement in regards to venting the dryer. Before Nick came, he let me know a price for a best case scenario, which I appreciated because had he named a price over my budget, it would have given us both the opportunity to cancel the estimate so as not to waste time. Nick arrived on-time for the estimate and at first it was pretty tricky to find a solution for venting the dryer without completely tearing up the ceiling and walls. Nick was persistent in finding though and was able to devise a plan of going through an old nonfunctional window that was hidden and covered. I hired him to complete the dryer venting and also uncap the gas line and install a hose in preparation for the dryer installation. On the day of the project, Nick arrived on time (7:30am on a Saturday) It took him about 2.5 hours to complete everything. He did a fantastic job. One strength I want to highlight is that Nick not only gets the job done, and does it well, but also takes pride in the aesthetics of his work. He could have easily vented the dryer in a way that exposed the pipe all the way along the ceiling and through the window, but instead he figured out a way to fish it under the sheet rock for a cleaner look. He also cleaned his work space completely - which I have found to be rare for contractors in this area. I have had many contractors who were ready to walk out the door without cleaning up their mess and would have done so had I not asked them to clean up before they go. I also want to highlight that I had a sewage pipe issue in the basement prior to his dryer venting project. Nick also does plumbing so I called him at 4pm and he was at my house by 8pm. People who who have hired folks for sewage pipe leaks know that cleaning up the sewage is not part of the job. Nick was willing to clean and sanitize on top of snaking the pipes and clearing them of clogs for a reasonable price. Nick has been great to work with and does great work. I have already hired him to take care of some other projects around the house (installing a shower door, clearing debris in the backyard). Glad we found a go-to handyman for our new home!
We bought a house a little over a year ago in Springfield. In that time we have run across some truly dishonest and unprofessional people. I must say the Billy is by far the best person that we ever allowed to work on any plumbing in our home. He has fixed a multitude of problems for me from water pressure issues to leaky pipes that were previously installed incorrectly. The man is a godsend. Thanks Billy!
Based on such a positive experience with J&R Quality Repair, I'd personally recommend their services for any of your plumbing needs. Jason and Rick are two of the most professional tradesmen I have worked with; they are punctual, professional, organized and very friendly. I hired them for two separate projects: 1. Completely re-pipe a natural gas boiler system that had multiple leaks/corrosion and 2. complete plumbing for two bathrooms we renovated at our home. When I initially spoke with Jason about the projects he asked me to take several pictures in advance from my phone, so he had an idea of the exact parts and effort that was required. The boiler project was completed in several hours, all of the pipes/connections are leak free and aligned professionally. After the winter season, the work was 100% issue free, there are no leaks and the system is functioning flawlessly. For the bathrooms we renovated, J&R helped in two phases of the project. They initially helped disconnect the sinks, showers, tubs and toilets. We completed all of the sheetrock, tile work, and painting. J&R then returned to complete the plumbing /reconnect all of the new appliances and finishing work. Everything now looks amazing; all of the fixtures Jason recommended function great and I feel comfortable knowing parts can be easily sourced if there is a problem after years of use. I have already provided their contact information to several friends that have plumbing needs; I also look forward to utilizing their services for any additional projects in the future.
Keep me informed of his arrival time for both the estimate and work; arrived on time for both. Stanley is very knowledgeable of his plumbing trade. He understood my request of minimizing the hole in the wall that was needed to access the corroded pipes. He needed to shut off all water in the house to replace the two values for the hot and cold water leading to the bathroom. Replacing these two values was first on his list which allowed for the water in the other parts of the house. Did a thorough job on cleaning up after completion. Tested his completed work allowing me to verify that everything is operational. I do recommend him. He's a young man who learned his trade from his two experienced brothers. Don't let his age be of concern. He replaced faulty galvanized piping with Pex and add a heating element to my baseboard heat in one of the bedrooms. Excellent workmanship. Wayne
Hired pipes to get rid of constant noise from the toilet. The job was done but it is not 100% perfect. It is still noisy during flushing. As I have been told one more detail needs to be changed.I expected more for my $100.
If you are looking for a honest professional technician to hire, All Valley Rooter & Plumbing is the best choice for you. According to my experience I would recommend this contractor because of his loyalty and professionalism. In fact I had a hug clogged toilets (2). After the inspection with camera, Jarred (the plumber) found that all my pipes are clogged because of broken pipes that allowed muds into them. He used the snake to show me the evidence and then suggested to me to replace all pipe. He dogged and I could see the pipes with mud inside. The work was done as planed. We talked about price before he began the work et he is not expensive. He charge me for the right price. After the work done, I wanted to give him a tip because I was very happy, but he declined saying I just pay the good price. I like also he availability and advice.
Very attentive and professional. I was very satisfied with his knowledge and work on installing our new dishwasher, hooking up the ice maker and a few other things he fixed in my home. Will hire again
Vaidas responded quickly, gave a reasonable price, showed up on time and did great job !! Highly recommend !!
These guys are great!! I own a four-family home which had been in a fire incident. I was in need of some dire repairs and remodeling, a friend of mine refered me to them and when I met with the Contractor he was very knowledgeable withover 35 Years of experience. I had them remodel and repair every aspect of my home the work was done very neat to my surprise the house was up and running in no time. I was guided through the work and they saved me lots of money on material cost. I would definitely recomend and will have them pave over my backyard this summer. The right contractor for any job!!
We have had a backed-up bathroom sink three times in the last few months. The first two were 'fixed' but the back ups returned soon after. We went to Thumbtack and found Nationwide Plumbers. The experience from booking (Debbie and Crystal) to pipes was superb. Telephone contact for booking and tweaking and confirming, etc. was very personable and professional. Our plumber and his assistant arrived on time, assessed the situation quickly, and were very helpful with information about what may have happened and what possibilities to expect in the future - and the pricing was very fair. I would definitely use Nationwide again for any plumbing challenges !
Was in a jam with a leaky kitchen sink shut off valve. Nick was able to squeeze me in on short notice. He arrived on time and was done in minutes. Would use him again.
