Erika cooked for our 11-person bachelorette party dinner and it was a complete delight! She really listened to all of our ideas when pulling together the menu, was quick to respond, and was a really nice presence at the dinner. We had gluten free and vegetarian restrictions, but you'd never know it! The food was amazing - and I'll be thinking of her almond cake until we work with her again! Thanks, Erika!
Tara catered an important birthday dinner for my mother-in-law and it was a night we'll never forget! From the very beginning she was flexible with our weird restrictions (gluten free, nut free and pescatarian) and gave us several creative options to choose from. We all raved about every course. The salad was bright and fresh, the appetizer (octopus) was perfectly cooked when so often restaurants overcook it, the main dish was so flavorful and the flourless chocolate cake was sinfully delicious. There were 9 adults and one toddler and everyone left so happy. Tara and Kelley were so sweet throughout the whole afternoon. Talking us through the process, explaining the courses and then left the kitchen spotless. I would highly recommend them for any special dinner (or even just a night you don't feel like cooking!) It was a perfect evening.
via Melissa, or "Chef Melissa" as we call her, exceeded our expectations! We took her from her usual route of healthy food and asked her to run a cooking class so that children with Celiac Disease could make and enjoy cupcakes on the morning of Super Bowl Sunday. She was really flexible and provided what felt and looked like "regular" cupcakes but modified for strict gluten-free compliance and somehow they were a little healthy too! All natural. even organic and dairy-free where possible. The ages of children who attended ranged from 4-12 and she worked really well with everyone! She set up before we (event organizers) arrived and had a friendly helper with her. They were professional but the kids related to them very well. The parents were all pleased and her rate was really reasonable! Our support group doesn't make any money from events like this, parents paid her directly and she was accepting last-minute additions without any worries. I can't think of a single negative - in fact we'd like to work with her again this year! Oh, and she even took the work of finding a location away from us (we're 2 volunteers who run this group for our children and others). Next class, we'll go a little healthier and really take advantage of ALL that via Melissa has to offer our kids! :) Oh, and she's even sending us kid-friendly, healthy and gluten-free recipes for us to share with the families in our group! She really goes above and beyond!
She is great to work with. Open to my likes and dislikes. If we wanted her to try a specific recipe she is willing to try it. All of the meals have been both healthy and delicious. I have intolerances to gluten and peanuts, which hasn't been a problem.
I hired Chef Flo to cook a birthday day for my eldest son and my family. He created a menu with my request of it being strictly Vegetarian and Gluten-Free. He is so knowledgeable about eating healthily and taught me some tricks for shopping at Whole Foods Market. I believe he worked for the company many years. Anyway, he came into our home with a smile on his face and a professional attitude. He entertained my two youngest sons, 11 & 9, as they were very interested in cooking. I did notice that he likes to clean as he cooks. I like that because that makes for a less messy kitchen in the end. His family-style plating was very elegant for it being family-style. He was organized and on time with his service. I like that he left my kitchen as if we never had a special dinner. The only memory we had of it was in our stomachs and some great memories. Chef Flo is a great chef. if you're looking for a personalized and special event to be catered, I would highly recommend his services.
Craig prepared a 5 course tasting menu, accomodating a complicated mix of food sensitivities and preferences. He worked with us to make the vegetarian, the meat eater and the gluten free diner happy.
Elliot is a longtime friend, and we both ended up in the culinary world. I had my birthday dinner at the Soho Grand with my fiancé this year, and it was outstanding and memorable in every way. Elliot had prepared a multi course meal complete with perfect wine pairings. I have celiac disease, and was treated to a first course of homemade fresh gluten free fettuccini -the best thing ever! It got better from there. So much dedication to the craft (house smoked bacon, fresh pastas), quality seafood, produce and meat (beef tongue! Foie gras! Caviar!) and attention to detail. I was so honored to have had such a special meal prepared for me, and Chef Elliot was excited as well, visiting our table to talk shop after each course. All around it was a very memorable and incredibly delicious evening, and I won't soon forget it.

Rae worked full time for my family as a personal cook. Because of her long hours, she had a lot of interaction with my family and me, and we came to know her quite well. We appreciate Rae so much because she values nutrition above all else and strives to make each meal tasty, new, and exciting while being healthy at the same time (although we often enjoyed delicious desserts as well!). We are a family of four, with various tastes and dietary needs. Rae was able to take into consideration all of this and tailor the weeks menu around each family member, including special fasts, dairy-free, vegetarian, fat-free, and always low-calorie options. She also cooked for different holiday parties, some of which were religious with specific requirements. Rae worked independently and proved to have good judgment. She was frugal when shopping, buying not only the appropriate amount, but also conscious of markets with the best value for the best products. Rae was always on time and reliable. Her honestly allowed me to be comfortable having her in my home while were away, home with my children, and using my credit card as necessary. Aside from eating Raes meals, my favorite part of Rae being here was that I never had to make a decision regarding food she did everything from picking the menu to serving it. Rae is extremely passionate about her work and it shows every day. She is a true pleasure to have around.
From start to finish, James was incredible and made my sister's bachelorette party a delicious and memorable experience. We wanted small dishes that were light, seasonal, and would accommodate both food preference (bride does not eat meat) and allergies (I have celiac disease) which is exactly what James did for us. He presented a wonderful menu with so many incredible options that it was difficult to narrow it down. Ultimately, we settled on the following: First Course: Classic Moules Mariniere - Mussels with White Wine, Garlic Butter, Pastis & Almond Flour Second Course: Heirloom Tomato Salad with burratta & Pistou Third Course: Grilled Vegetable Platter Fourth Course: Charred Octopus, Warm Fingerling Potato Salad, Fennel-Saffron-Mussel Butter Sauce Dessert: Chocolate Cremeux with Rosemary Caramel and Toasted Hazelnuts -- Whipped Cream In addition, James baked fresh bread and made gluten free focaccia. Each dish was better than the next--delicious and beautiful--and the guests (8 of us) were blown away by both the quality and quantity of food served. As someone who does not often eat sweets often, I finished mine and can honestly say, it may be the best dessert I have ever had. I wish I had pictures, but two of my sister's friends literally put bowl to mouth to drink the broth from the mussels. Every single guest requested a card from James at the end of the meal and they have not stopped gushing over what a wonderful experience it truly was. I HIGHLY recommend James for any occasion.
We love working with Corey. When we want something in particular she never fails to deliver but if we are totally out of inspiration we can trust she will dream up something delicious. She is great at working with dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegan, paleo, etc) and is also a skilled seasonal cook. Corey sources great ingredients, prepares them in wholesome, delicious ways and is always eager to work with her clients changing needs.
Jac is an awesome chef! I first hired her to cook for my brother's birthday dinner, and it was so delicious, everyone was so impressed (ask for the raw apple pie!!!) now I have Jac come in to pre-prepare meals for me once a week. Its so much better than take out or buying ready made stuff from whole foods. She developed a gluten free menu that is yummy and helps me feel my best even under the pressure of my hectic life! I highly recommend her services.

Richard came into our home and made completely from scratch the most delicious gourmet pizza I ever had! He is a very talented chef . He also can make gluten free pizza which tasted like normal pizza. He has been making and creating delicious food for the past 4 years for our family. His cakes are amazing!! not only can u taste the love in his creations , you can feel the love and passion coming from the kitchen.

My wife and I hired Ian for our 25th Wedding Anniversary Party held at a beach house rental about four hours from our home. There were 30+ guests for meals over the course of a weekend, Ian cooking with one assistant on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Ian strikes the perfect balance between giving you what you want and giving you what you didn't know that you wanted. It's the fine line between listening carefully and creative input when you want each of those that make him special. His attitude is superb and should be a prime factor for anyone who considers him as a chef/caterer. Add to that his work ethic, and you have someone that you can trust with responsible decisions about menus as well as budget considerations. But his food, you ask? His food is OUT OF THIS WORLD amazing. I consider myself a good home cook. I don't bow down to anybody. I take pride in my palette. He's for real. Ian's ability to combine flavors and put together a meal is extraordinary. He was able to take guidelines and run with them in the most imaginative way while providing adjustments for individuals who are vegetarians or gluten-free. I cannot speak highly enough for Ian's abilities as a chef and his qualities as a strong, thoughtful, and compassionate man. Stephanie was extremely friendly, flexible and a pleasure to work with. How the taste and presentation come together leaves you wanting more. I also felt comfortable making a few special requests (I am gluten free) and Stephanie delivered without any qualms. I am happy I found her and cannot wait to order a delicious dessert from her at my next get together.
Alexander is a spectacular chef and a pleasure to be around. He was able to cook remarkably creative and delicious meals for my entire family & friends even with all the restrictions I had at the time ( Acid reflux diet and gluten and dairy free). In fact, they didn't even know they were eating a healing diet! Alexander has an easy going affable demeanor and is passionate about his work. It was a joy to work with him.
We had an amazing meal with Johnny!!! He is unbelievably accommodating and creative. My wife if gluten free and loves lobster, while I love steak - so he did lobster 4 ways and cooked a ribeye for me. Each of the lobster dishes was amazing with flavors that were classic but also each with its own creative twist. We were always surprised and delighted. We couldn't recommend Johnny more.
