FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I let them get to know me. Allow them to ask me any questions, and whatever goes unasked, I will bring to their attention. Typically a client asks the price and information on the ceremony script but not sure about any other questions. So I, in turn, ask if they have filed their license application. Then I get real questions and I provide solutions.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out by throwing parties. I enjoyed coordinating kids and adult parties. I created the back drops and decorations and hand picked the color themes. Then I took it a step further and began planning weddings. Went to school for Bridal Consulting and Event Management. Here I am today.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Know what you want. If you're not sure of what you want talk to a planner and go over all aspects of a wedding and then carefully pick and choose according to your budget, style and priorities. If you run into a planner that says you need everything - please run in the opposite direction.
