I provide personalized service and custom menus depending on the clients needs and wants. I coordinate outside vendors such as rentals, flowers, service staff and entertainment at no additional cost. I specialize in smaller events (dinner for up to 40 and cocktails for up to 100) and I work 100% of these events as the Chef on site.
I simply love making people happy with my food! Whether it be an informal family dinner or an upscale larger event - I enjoy both equally.

We had a lovely memorial luncheon for my mom. Diedre was amazing! Extremely responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, delicious food and a wonderful, experienced team working with her. I did not want to be bothered with logistics - Diedre and team handled everything seamlessly. I highly recommend and would definitely reach out to D'Lish again for future catering needs.

Deirdre and D'Lish catering were perfect partners for our company holiday party! Our employees are still talking about how amazing the food was! Deirdre came by a few weeks before to check out our space and was able to coordinate and bring our vision to life. We had a dinner party for 16 people.
We started with drinks and hors d'oeuvres served beforehand, and then sat down for a 4 course dinner and dessert.
It was a brilliant evening. Deirdre worked with us to develop a menu, and then delivered a delicious meal. Despite having so many people at our house, we were actually able to be out with our guests enjoying the whole evening as Deirdre and her team delivered course after wonderful course.
I would highly recommend.

We used D'Lish for my wife's surprise birthday party. Deirdre was fantastic! I had never planned an event like this before and from the my first interaction with Deirdre, I knew the event was going to be great. She handled EVERYTHING -- rentals, liquor, setup, cleanup -- in addition to the excellent food our friends and family are still raving about. Not only that, but she also went far out of her way to ensure the entire meal, including dessert, was gluten free, even finding a dedicated gluten free bakery for the cake. Trust me when I tell you that you cannot make a mistake with D'Lish. For our next event, I won't even consider looking around. I'll just call Deirdre and know everything will be great, down to the smallest detail.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Average per person price for: (food only-service fee is separate)
Cocktail Parties: $25 to $50
Dinner: $60 to $200
(including several passed hors d'oeuvres and multiple courses)
Lunch: $20 to $60
Service fees: varies per area. Typically $35 per hour for each server, more for Chefs, Philadelphia and Manhattan have higher rates.
PERSONAL CHEF RATES (weekday meals):
$250 (local) to $450 (NY and Philly) per half day depending on your area. Usually this means several meals for a family of two to five. The cost of groceries would be additional. On-site extended evening hours including serving the meal would entail an additional fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would send a quote to the client and establish pricing and menu details. I am happy to do a site tour whenever possible, and examine the potential work area and layout.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 30 years of experience working with high profile clients.
