Daniel Chi of Vine Home Inspections should be your next home inspector, no questions asked. As a first time home buyer, I didn't have an accurate barometer to determine which inspector to go with, but after my first phone call with Dan, I didn't have any doubts. Throughout the entire process, Dan has been very communicative and responsive, and more importantly, as a first time home buyer, he was very informative and answered all my questions. He's very passionate about his work and you can tell from his detailed insights (in person and on the report). In one particular example, when he found the placement of the AC units outside the home unusual, he took the initiative to find out from other professionals and brought it to my attention. This was only after the first phone call, by the way, so I was very impressed with the care and attention he took to research the home before I even decided to choose him for the inspection.As mentioned earlier, during the inspection, he was helpful in explaining various things to watch out for in the future and how to keep the home well maintained. He was thorough in his inspection (took many photos) and didn't hesitate to call out something (even if cosmetic) to the seller (who was present during the inspection). As the home was a new construction, there wasn't anything negative or of major concern in the report, but it was relieving to know that everything was assessed properly.Dan's service is of excellent quality and his fees are competitive and very reasonable. You definitely get way more than you would pay for with Dan, and I will certainly recommend him to friends and family.

If you are searching for a reliable home inspector look no more!! Dan Chi of VINE Home Inspections is your guy! I was referred to Dan by a friend for a home I am thinking about purchasing. I can't say enough about his professionalism and meticulous style. I had so many questions around the condition of the house and the repairs that would be needed in the future. He is very knowledgeable and patiently answered all my inquiries in a clear manner. He addressed every issue of the house and provided information throughout the whole inspection process. When you are making one of the biggest purchases in your life, it's crucial to have the right people to help you guide your decision. Dan is one of those people. I used Vine Home Inspections to evaluate my house, and to make sure everything was ok. He was thorough, knowledgable and most importantly he was patient. He took the time to answer my questions about the home, and even walked me through the house to show me what he was talking about. In the end I received an unbiased assessment of the home, a thorough written report, and felt it was in my best interests, and not just the realtor trying to make a sale. Dan's a stand up guy who knows his stuff, and helped me understand the inner workings of a home. I would highly recommend.
