FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge on a project basis for speechwriting and hourly rates for presentation consulting. Fees vary depending on a number of factors, including the length of the speech, the date of the event, the audience you're reaching, among others.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step in forming a relationship with a new customer is a free 30-minute consultation. Working on your story is personal, so it's important that we both decide if this is a good fit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For the last two years, as founder of The Content Interpreter, I have developed speeches and consulted on presentations for clients from across industries, including architecture, politics, journalism, non-profit organizations, academia, real estate, talent acquisition, business/career coaching, financial services and orthodontics. My multi-faceted professional experience began by working in media research for clients from small businesses to blue-chip advertisers, and over the years, I have focused on client development and engagement. It is the area that matters most. My op-eds, interviews and other pieces have appeared in top trade magazines such as Adweek, Broadcasting & Cable, as well as the American Express Open Forum. Since 2010, I have been an active member of the Pacers Toastmasters Club in Midtown Manhattan. I have earned my Competent Communicator and Competent Leadership awards, competed in several contests, served as a club officer for two and a half years and still mentor other club members to this day. I am a 2007 graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
