- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Re paint sq ft $2.00 depending how many colors. New construction $4-8.00 depending on colors and stain packages. Garage doors and trim re paint Double car $125 single car $75. $25 setup fee. Per hour I charge 45-85 depending on the work to be completed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Introduction, explanation of scoop of work. I usually take notes of the job to be done then complete a through estimation of the work to be done. I like to be through and concise.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I developed a passion for building in high school. When I got out of school I went straight into construction. I started working framing houses on the base with a local contractor. After 2 years of back breaking work. I had a opportunity to learn to paint. I choose wisely and focused on painting.
