- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is straightforward and transparent. I provide upfront quotes so customers always know the total cost before any work begins—no hidden fees or surprise charges. Service pricing is based on travel, labor, and the specific maintenance or repair required. I also use flat-rate pricing for most generator services to keep things simple and predictable. I do not mark up prices unexpectedly, and any parts or additional repairs are discussed with the customer before moving forward. For larger projects, I provide detailed written estimates, and for maintenance customers, I offer annual service packages that help keep their generators in top condition at a predictable cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is simple, transparent, and designed to keep customers informed every step of the way. I start by discussing the customer’s needs—whether it’s maintenance, troubleshooting, or generator installation. From there, I provide upfront pricing and explain exactly what the service includes. On the day of the appointment, I perform a full inspection, document all findings, and review the results with the customer so they understand the condition of their equipment. I end every job with clear recommendations, next steps, and honest answers to any questions. The goal is to make the entire experience professional, informative, and stress-free.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed a 5-year electrical apprenticeship that combined classroom training with on-the-job experience in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems. I also hold both journeyman and electrical contractor licenses, which require multiple exams and continuing education. In addition, I am a licensed Generac dealer and have completed Generac factory training for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and warranty procedures. This combination of formal training and hands-on experience allows me to provide accurate, reliable service on home standby generators and electrical systems.
