He has since turned it into a career and built a successful landscaping and lawn care company that has grown and evolved with our every day changing society. Milligan Scapes was a highly professional organization, from start to finish on our extensive landscaping project at our new home. Their Designer worked with us to create a plan that met our minimal landscape maintenance but beautiful to look at criteria. The landscapers showed up timely everyday, worked hard and were always courteous and accommodating of minor last minute changes. The waterfall they created is simply a work of art and will bring us many hours of enjoyment. The brick pavers they installed are not only functional, but also created an open space for entertaining. First class company, would highly recommend to anyone wanting/needing a professional landscaper.

We were looking for a sod installation contractor who could deliver on service, quality and a competitive fee. Typically, you can find someone who gives you 2 of the 3, but you have to sacrifice something. I'm pleased to say that Milligan Scapes was everything we hoped for and we are extremely pleased with the way our lawn turned out. Gary and his team are ultra-professional. They communicated with us throughout the process and delivered on every promise they made. The quality of our lawn is easy to see, but it was the way the project was managed that I was most impressed by. Even after the lawn was installed we received guidance on caring for it and periodic check-ins. We interviewed 6 installers and Gary was the most professional by far. The price was very fair, especially for the level of quality. If you're thinking about hiring Gary, you may find that Milligan Scapes has a backlog and it may be a while to get your work scheduled. Don't be tempted to go with another bid to get it done quickly. There's a reason for the backlog. It's because Gary and his team have a well-earned reputation for quality. They also guarantee their work IN WRITING which was really important to us. I highly recommend Milligan Scapes and can't say enough good things about them.

Amazing company to work with! I am very glad we were approached by Gary on Thumbtack for our project. He's very responsive, as is his entire team. They were able to install a beautiful new lawn in our backyard. Along the way, they discovered two broken valves in our backyard, which we had them fix as well. The attentiveness and care they take is amazing! They are all extremely personable, and the way the entire team interacts with one another is like a huge family. We will definitely be hiring them again!

I called 6 landscaping companies to get a quote on rabbit proofing my backyard and laying some sod. One company never called me back. One company came looked at my yard and told me they only do new installations. One company looked at my yard and then never issued a quote. One company was over twice as expensive than Milligan. And the the last company was less expensive but didn't show up at our scheduled appointment and was hard to chase down. Needless to say we chose Milligan. Gary Milligan showed up at the scheduled time. He issued a quote that day. His employees were courteous and hard workers. Gary came and inspected the work they did. When I critiqued some of the rabbit proofing, Milligan employees came back and fixed it. They really wanted to make sure I was happy. It has been about a month since the work was done and I am happy to report no new rabbits have gotten in and the sod has taken. I am extremely happy with their work. Milligan Landscaping was by far the most professional company I interacted with and I am happy with the results.
