FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly reading articles and blogs that are dedicated to photography to help me learn more about how to improve my work. I feel that it is important to always be looking for ways to make my images better, because I want to provide a quality product to my customers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I fell in love with photography at a young age. I loved capturing moments so that I would be able to look back on them years later. That spark really developed when I took a photography class in high school and through learning about the processes and techniques, I grew to love the art even more and I went on to take more photo classes in college. In 2004, at the request of some friends, I photographed my very first professional session, which was said friends' wedding. That was the clincher :) I realized I really loved being behind the camera, capturing these wonderful moments, these snapshots of time, for people.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My job as the photographer is to capture the moment and to make you look fabulous in the process. I want my clients to have a beautiful photograph to preserve that special moment in their life that they can look back on with fondness for years to come. It always my goal with every session that I shoot that the photographs I provide my customers will become treasured family keepsakes-something that gets loved generation after generation.
