I love teaching kids and adults beginning through advanced guitar, voice and piano lessons in the Southwest. I am an experienced, fun, easygoing musician who will be by your side to help you learn the basics, note reading, technique, and that song you want to play; develop all aspects of your talent and spruce up your performance techniques.
Whatever style you want to learn, I can teach. I can start with detailed, step-by-step basics of music, note reading, tuning the guitar and general maintenance, or we can get straight to the point and learn a new song each lesson. The pace depends on you!

Valerie is a warm and friendly piano instructor. My son took to her teaching style immediately and did not display his normal shyness. He was so exited by the experience of his first lesson, that he immediately wanted to practice when we got home. Thanks Val!
