Cynthia was the absolute best! She was easy to work with and such fun. She was so helpful to Ben and Catlin and made sure they had the ceremony they wanted. They were having a very small wedding but it needed to be special and it was! They wanted it to be near the Volcanoes so we would be hiking. Cynthia was a willing hiker! The wedding was in September but I still think about that day! Thank you Cynthia for making it so easy. This was a great choice for an officiant!Nov 13, 2018Verified
Cynthia was the officiant for our wedding at Casas de Suenos on October 1st, 2016. She is such a joy to be around, livened up the ceremony, and cracked a few jokes:) she made us both feel very comfortable and I couldn't ask for a better human being to marry us. Thank you Cynthia!Oct 3, 2016Verified

I attended a wedding recently that was conducted by Cynthia as the officiant. I would highly recommend her. She has a great presence about her and is very good at putting the participants at ease. She is professional without being overbearing and has a wonderful sense of humor that she uses judiciously to lighten the mood and engage the couple and participants. You will not be disappointed.Nov 24, 2015
I felt Cynthia was the right officiant for our ceremony when I first saw her profile. Every interaction with her has confirmed my feeling. Thanks, Cynthia, for helping us create our ideal ceremony!Mar 17, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The basic price is $200 for the ceremony, which includes our meeting initially. If you live beyond the Albuquerque/Santa Fe region, If you wish me to travel outside of the Santa Fe/Albuquerque area, I will consider it for an extra fuel charge. There is only the one initial meeting to discuss your ceremony and vows, and then we email and text one another to clarify and adjust any necessary planning strategies for getting the ceremony you want, and, if desired, a rehearsal before the wedding.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We will meet to discuss your plans for the ceremony and vows. If you would like to write your own vows, you may want to share them with me one on one, away from your beloved, before your ceremony. I also have examples of many different vows and ceremonies, as well as dozens of examples of opening remarks that I've given, examples of different styles and techniques that many couples have chosen in the past. At the time of booking, one-half of the fee is due. The remainder of the fee is payable on the wedding day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I first studied English Lit at the University of Texas. Later on, I went back to college and obtained degrees in Nursing. I have worked as a professional Registered Nurse for over 35 years, most recently as a Hospice Manager. Experienced with every type of family, ethnicity, and relationships, I am comfortable working with anyone. I am licensed by the State of New Mexico as a wedding officiant.
